Perfect for situations where you specifically need a usb 2.0 hard drive enclosure. Cons: Like all desktop hd enclosures, it requires its own wall plug. Storing hard disks like books on a shelf is less convenient than a dedicated NAS, but appropriate for data you will rarely need to access. Other Thoughts: We have an enterprise wide encryption system that is only compatible with usb 2.0. I hope they keep making these! Did you find this review helpful? Colorado &. 6/3/2013 11:21:52 AM Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5machined too small for hdd This review is from: StarTech SAT3510BU2V Aluminum 3.5" Black SATA I/II USB 2.0 External Enclosure Pros: hard to say anything good because of the con Cons: I saw that if you secure the hdd to the sliding carriage it will not fit into the enclosure, so I filed the heads of the screws and it will was tight. I filed the opening to try and make it fit, and now I cannot remove the hard drive. Stargate does nothing. they say they will inform their production crew but cannot do anything for me.
