Jeremy R. 12/4/2014 1:59:32 PM Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5great product This review is from: StarTech S2510U33RUSM Aluminum / Plastic 5.25" Black SATA III USB 3.0 5.25" USM Storage Bay with 2.5" SATA USM / USB 3.0 Hard Drive Enclosure Pros: -allows you to re-purpose a 2.5" drive -usb 3.0 compatibility -great for file transfers or hot swapping Cons: depending on where/how you mount the drive bay in your case, it requires you to put a very sharp bend in the SATA data & power cables. This is due to the drive eject lever in the back rubbing up against the cables. Other Thoughts: Suggest using ribbon cables. I have a clearance issue with my drive bay and my radiator, so that's my issue. I also like the fact that the bay enclosure has a molex plug in addition to SATA power. Also just keep in mind that if you connect the drive into the bay (as opposed to the usb 3.0 connection) you can't just eject the drive like you would a usb connection. Daniel J. 1/31/2014 8:24:12 AM Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/51TB SSD @10Gb ps USM This review is from: StarTech S2510U33RUSM Aluminum / Plastic 5.25" Black SATA III USB 3.0 5.25" USM Storage Bay with 2.5" SATA USM / USB 3.0 Hard Drive Enclosure Pros: I bought this for my old (SSD) Solid State Drive but used my new 1TB Solid State Drive in it so I can use it to make back-ups while downloading photos to my HyperDriveOTG stand-alone card reader/viewer in the field. When I get back to my Home/Studio late I work off the HyperDriveOTG's 1TB (SSHD) solid state hy-brid drive via USB-3, while downloading the Solid state drive to my 2TB SSHD NAS or DeskTop WorkStation via USM. My LapTop WorkStation has a 480GB RAID mSATA Scratch disk, 480GB SSD OS disk, 750GB SSHD Data disk in the ODD bay, and now this to download from via USB-3.1 (@10Gb ps) then I save to a different location ((Q:(for queue))! Cons: ? Other Thoughts: All in all this 5.25" receiver w/case for 2.5" drive transforms your Digital DarkRoom into a Home/Studio that will keep expanding for your clientele!!! 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
