Pros: Good product for the price but wrong form factor for my Samsung 950 Pro SSD.

Cons: This adapter only works for M.2 devices with a "B" key form factor. My Samsung SSD has a "M" key form factor. They look nearly identical but are slightly off by a mm or so.

Pros: All around great device.

SATA III 6Gb/s

works when combined with other adapters, such as a SATA to USB3.0 adapter.

The adapter itself is transparent to the system, i.e., if you install it in a laptop the computer will see the hard drive directly, not an adapter like some others.

Cons: for the money it could have been a little bit more tool less.
The 4 screws connecting the case cover are just a hassle if you need to use this a lot as I sometimes do.

Other Thoughts: I have used Startech products for over ten years and I have come to find most of their products to be reliable and full featured, well thought out.
