Pros: Worked for a few seconds

Cons: every drive i have attempted to format in this case has had its boot sector irreparably damaged. it works fine to read data, writing never worked. This is the third of these generic cases ive used and found all to be absolutly horrid.

Other Thoughts: do NOT buy this product.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: They advertised to work for all ibook hard drives but their pin structure doesn't support the ibook G4 hard drive. They have NO customer service number to call but instead have a web form that automatically signs you up for their promo emails.

Pros: No problems at all

Cons: Not securing hard drive inside, you can hear and feel rattling noise when lightly shaked, had to put a piece of paper between the hard drive and the case.

Pros: This is a great little enclosure for people on the go. No additional power is required and it comes with a USB Y-cable, allowing you to connect a extra device. Included are a great carrying case and a small screwdriver for assembly.

Cons: For those concerned with looks, the screws are silver and don't match the black case.

The screws to secure the enclosure shut are VERY tiny and sharp. Work in a clean area so you don't lose one. I've worked with plenty of tiny screws before but I dropped these 3 times each.

Other Thoughts: The screwdriver that came with the drive is designed nicely, but I didn't enjoy using it, so I used my own eyeglass screwdriver instead.
