5 out of 5 eggsTotally Impressed

Pros: Excellent documentation, looks great, plenty of modular cables for any setup. Fan control is a great feature. Can't beat the price!

Cons: I have not run the PSU enough to test the voltages

5 out of 5 eggsTechnological marvel, sound is bare minimum

Pros: Front control panel is simply wonderful to reduce sound (controlling the exhaust 80mm fan).

All MOLEX and power cables are sleeved and well insulated. The ability to only use what you have to (component cables) means maximum air flow in your case.

120mm is silent, variable controlled via the PS. 80mm is silent at its low setting, and makes only a moderate amount of noise when its spinning fast.

The ability to monitor the temperature inside the PS is a good indicator of how much of a burden you're placing on the PS.

The charcoal/chrome finish is aethetically pleasing.

The ability to hook up your case fan to the PS and allow the PS to control (variably) the spin rate of the case fan ensures maximum cooling without the noise (big plus!)

Dual 12V rails for modern motherboards is a must. 3.3V (3.4V), 5.0V (5.1V), 12V (12.1V) - clean power, without plaguing undervoltage.

Cons: 20+4 connector is confusing for Intel motherboards, I think. 4 pin adapter does not work with the 12V 4 pin port for Intel motherboard. You must use the 8/4 pin connector (PCI-Express and Intel), though this is not explicitly stated as such.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsPFC = Not Active

Pros: PFC is NOT active like the specifications say! Click on the manufacturer product page link and it says PFC is only active for "SUNNU450-EUAP" version not this "SUNNU450-US" version.

Cons: First newegg messup I have seen, albeit not a big one, but a mistake non-the-less.

Other Thoughts: looks like an awsome power supply, just don't get it if you really wanted active PFC.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good....

Pros: Bright blue PSU Temp Read out, psu fan control. Modular Cabling saves space.

Cons: none right now....

Other Thoughts: ASUS A8V-VM VIA K8M890 Micro ATX 24 pin, AMD 3000 1.8, 1G RAM, Radeon X800XL PCI-E, 4 80mm fans, PCI exhaust fan, DVD Burner, Floppy drive, WD 160 HD. Budget machine, but this PSU is excellent for my needs, No glitches or problems so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PSU

Pros: I have used both this and its bigger (550W) brother in multiple builds. The construction is excellent. The PSU is beautiful and its weight is a sign of its quality. The power is great, and the modular cables are also great. This comes with a little 3.5" fan controller as well. The fans are silent.

Cons: None, great PSU for the price.

Other Thoughts: Great PSU!

5 out of 5 eggsFollow-up

Pros: Follow up review for my previous back in August. The rear fan started to make a horrible clicking noise, and, as expected, failed due to melting.

Cons: The psu gets pretty hot, and I had to replace the back fan. The voltages, however, remained solid! Still a great buy, even with the fan replacement.

Other Thoughts: You'll need a 80mm fan with a 15mm depth (the standard is 20 or 25, which is too big because of the placement of the 120mm fan thats mounted at the bottom).

You can save some trouble and order an Evercool 80mm fan, its 15mm in depth so it will fit beautifully, its item number is N82E16835119041 right here on newegg.

Happy buying guys, and thanks newegg for being the best in the business.

5 out of 5 eggsGood so far

Pros: Very stable, great price for a modular psu. Without taking the thing apart I can tell it's good quality just because it's heavy. Rather quiet too even at full speed on the fans. Fan speed controller is a plus too.

Cons: none at this point.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this psu in a micro case and it's getting the job done nicely thus far. Overclocking an Opteron 150 up to 2.8Ghz with little to no effort. Superpi 32mb stable out the box.

5 out of 5 eggsSIlent Power

Pros: Running strong after 14 months, voltage seem stabile. Dual +12V rails.

Cons: PC has had a couple of reboots for unknown reasons. Best I can tell its not from this psu.

Other Thoughts: Benefits of a Modular PSU seem questionable now. I used all the power supply slots as I added more peripherals to the pc.
