1 out of 5 eggsDissatisfied Customer

Pros: Compact unit that accept 7 connections.

Cons: Red light indicator is on and my printers and scanner have to be attached directly to my computer. I tried to return it to the dealer but they said I have to contact the manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: Will purchase a different product and hope for more reliability.

1 out of 5 eggsWon't stay connected

Pros: Would be a nice product ... if it worked.

Cons: Refuses to stay connected to computer. I tried it on both a laptop and a desktop and had the same problem with both. I was considering exchanging it, but since I see that others have had the same problem, I'm going to return it.

1 out of 5 eggsWon't stay connected to my computer

Pros: cool design

Cons: the hub will not stay connected to my computer. The "connection" light flashes when first plugged in, but quickly goes off and will not come back on (even with no USB devices plugged in). The power connection doesn't look like it plugs in all of the way - regardless of how much pressure I put on it.

This hub worked for 1 week but isn't helping me at all now.

Other Thoughts: Will probably exchange for a Belkin or D-Link unit.

1 out of 5 eggsFollow up

Pros: None (see previous review below)

Cons: Despite previous drawbacks, I considered this worth the money. Ended up dying 10 days out of warranty, which is only 30 days.

Other Thoughts: Avoid this product.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks with some kinks

Pros: It does function as a powered hub, which fits my needs perfectly.

Cons: The usb cord is tiny, you must buy an extension cord with this if you are going to be expanding from a desktop computer on the floor.

Also, it does not have a power switch. Once the computer shuts down the fans on my pc continue running as long as this device is plugged into the PC, as well as all the devices continue to run. A tiny power switch would make this 4 stars, and a longer cord with it would bring it to 5.

Other Thoughts: Despite the drawbacks it's definetly worth the money. I just pull the power cable when I turn off my pc, and all problems solved.
