1 out of 5 eggsNot Good

Pros: 7 ports

Cons: Even self powered devices disconnect with moderate activity. Same devices work fine on the computer's USB ports.

Other Thoughts: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat USB Hub

Pros: Lots of ports, Inexpensive, On/off switch, desk mountable

Cons: The desk mount could be better. It is just double faced tape but that is all I really was after.

Other Thoughts: Over all really good hub. I'm not doing anything except plugging in flash drives into it so I've not really tested its hard core.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't really do anything I was wanting it for....

Pros: Will connect with SOME devices occassionally.......

Cons: All these devices work properly when not through the hub. HP printer reconnects/disconnects constantly. Wireless mouse and keyboard will not connect at all. Wired mouse and keyboard disconnect regularly. Will not charge any of these devices - IPod, IPad, Razr Maxx, Original Driod, Asus Transformer Pad.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Connects and runs quickly, even when using all 7 ports.
Small-- roughly 7" long (6" without the power cord) by 2" high by 1.5" deep-- which saves space.
Very light (will need to use attached sticky pads or some kind of adhesive of your own).

Cons: Will connect/synchronize an iPod, but not charge it (I heard there is a similar problem with other Apple products).
"Reinstalls" my HP printer every time I restart the laptop, but not when I only put it to sleep, so I have 5-6 copies of my printer and I don't know which one is "active" though I don't unplug it.

Other Thoughts: Can draw power through connections to other devices that receive power (i.e. does not through printer, but does through external Desktop hard drive)-- the green light remains on even when you turn it off.
Will definitely buy another if the need arises.
