The Avocent LongView 1000U Extender allows you to control your computer from a remote location up to 1,000 feet away from the computer. This greater distance allows you to separate your users from their computer/target devices, helping to solve the challenges such as protecting computers from hazardous work environments, and protecting computers from accidental damage or theft.
Its receiver unit connects a keyboard, monitor, mouse, speakers, microphone, and serial port device, and links up with the transmitter unit using a UTP cable. The video quality and signal strength are maintained thanks to a unique auto-tuning feature. The OSD shows critical system information.
