Works as USB 2.0, invaluable for laptop...
- Pros: No AC adapter needed to support USB 2.0. Without the second USB cable plugged in, it supports 1.1 devices no problem.
The 4 ports are widely separated so that devices aren't crowded.
- Cons: Takes two USB ports, so you lose 2 and gain 4, but only if you need to use High Speed (for drives and stuff).
- Pros: It works, no need for a power cable. I hooked up an optical mouse, a digital camera, and a printer all into this hub and they worked great.
- Cons: The blue light on top is overly bright. I wish it weren't there or there was a way to turn it down some. Cable can also be a little on the short side depending on your setup.
