Pros: Come with USB cord and wall wart PS.

Cons: Problems staying connected. Plugging the AC power in actually disconnects the hub from Windows.

It didn't start this way. It worked for USB thumb drives and card readers for about 3 months, them problems came up more and more.

After about a year, it just stopped working altogether.
It shows as a hub under device manager, but nothing of any kind plugged in can be recognized by windows, not even a mouse or USB keyboard.

Other Thoughts: I chalk this up to a lot of early USB 3.0 devices were expensive and unreliable. I have purchsed to new ones this week from other mfgrs, and hope they work better.

I almost never give bad reviews like this, even for hard drives that fail, but this was such a consistent disappointment it deserves it.

Pros: 0

Cons: It is basically just a poor design, very bad craftsmanship.
The power light won't stay on, had to be rigged to get it to work. I needed it for a computer upgrade job and transferring between two computers a lot of information on different flash drives. The ports are too close together, unable to plug multiple items in at the same time. I was only able to utilize 2 sometimes 3 plugs at one time.

Other Thoughts: It is not worth the time or aggravation to send back. I had to click at least one egg wish had a zero rating for this product

Were you connect the Hub to a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port?
Do you have the AC adapter plugged in?

Pros: Almost none, one USB port does work at a time.

Cons: I ordered this device and did not use it for about 6 months. When I did I plugged in a usb keyboard and it worked fine. Eventually I plugged a flash drive into it also and the whole hub shut down. Any time I plug in more that 1 USB anything the entire hub shuts off. It is basically just a usb extender at this point.

Your issue sounds like it may be caused by its AC Power adapter not being plugged in. Though this unit can function without additional power, it is recommended to supply power to it. Some devices may require more power than the Hub alone can provide.

Also, this Hub uses a VLI chipset which is only compatible with Windows based operating systems. If used in any other operating system, its behavior will become unstable. Additionally, a firmware update has been released to fix any minor issues in Windows.

Pros: My memory sticks work great on it!

Cons: Nothing else does!! Not my WD Passport hard drive, corded mouse, cordless keyboard, iphone 4....

Computer wont boot with it plugged in. I'm very disappointed.

Other Thoughts: Dont buy it unless you plan on only using it for USB 3.0 sticks. Outside that I feel ripped off. I'm thinking about returning it. Put a piece of tape over the light.

Pros: It worked for a while, but was flakey every 30 days.

Cons: Flakey device. When using a logitech MX518 mouse, it would cause random mouse movement within SWTOR. I thought it was the mouse, so I replaced it. Had the same problem. I bypassed the USB hub and connected the mouse direct to the computer and the problem went away.
Strange issues with the keyboard sending the wrong characters to the computer. Opened notepad to figure out what was going on and the keystrokes did not match what I was typing. Again, happened on two different keyboards. Bypassing the HUB resolved the problem.

Approximately every 30 days, you have to powercycle the device for it to work again. It would randomly stop functioning. All lights would be on, but no input would be registered. Unplugging and replugging to the computer did not help. Would have to unplug the USB hub from power and plug it back in.

Other Thoughts: I tossed it in the trash tonight. Save your money or buy a better brand.

Since USB 3.0 uses a newer technology and chipset, compatibility issues can still exist across several USB devices. USB 3.0 technology involved not simply an increase of speed, but also technology, design, compatibility, and power.
