Pros: Attractive carton

Cons: What a piece of garbage. I could have cut out the middle man and simply burned my money. Two of the ports are not USB3, and it works only intermittently. I bought two and only one works as it should. Never again.

Pros: Works great! Windows 7 (64bit) recognized without manually installing a driver.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have an available usb3 slot. This is a hub that expands an existing usb3 port, it doesn't add usb3 to your usb2 computer. I got a "SYBA USB 3.0 PCI-e Card with HDD Power Connector (3 + 1 Ports) Model SD-PEX20080" and joined it with this hub. All works perfectly.

Pros: Fits nicely

Cons: Doesnt do its job! I used various usb ports on my mobo as well as a usb 3.0 pci express card installed in my computer.

Isn't being recognized at all. Tried plugging in after booting up, still didn't work.

Other Thoughts: LED's on usb devices turn on if I plug them into the device yet they aren't recognized by the computer either.

The 3.0 USB cable does not provide enough power to this front panel and needs the assistance of the molex power feed.

Also note that this product does not support Operating Systems besides Windows Server 2003, 2008, XP, Vista, and 7.

Pros: Worked great for one week, then crashed... NOTHING

Cons: Crashed less than two weeks, I already threw the box away, so it looks like i will eat the 25.00.

Other Thoughts: I guess I should read the reviews before I buy, Next time I will.

Don't waste your money on this junk.

1. Make sure both data and power connections are firmly into their places.
2. Use a USB mouse and test each port. Notice the bad and good ports

Did you connect the Hub to a USB 3.0 or 2.0 port?
Did you connect the Molex power to the hub?

We would happily give you a replacement because the product should still be under warranty. Maybe a a power surged happened and was unnoticed, causing the device to not work.

This front panel should be fully functional if you connected the USB 3.0 cable to an internal 3.0 USB port and molex power with it.

Pros: This looked like a cool product, perfect for 3.5 slot in my case with 4 USB 3.0 ports, But...

Cons: When I Power Down the computer, the Power and the Hard Drive lights stay lit and Bright. To USE this awesome looking USB 3.0 Hub I have to disconnect/connect the USB cable from the motherboard when powering down the computer or using a usb device. Ridiculus! I probably keep the hub and later buy something else.

Other Thoughts: I did some checking on this Power LED and HDD LED issue online, and its some sort of power +5 volts going through the usb back to the motherboard and into the LED's on the case.

Pros: work as fast as my other USB3 port

Cons: 1 - the 3.5 to 5.25 adapter is in poor quality plastic
2 - the USB port PCB is small but they put that in big metal tray for nothing.
3- Don't connect on MB connector but in port back to the MB so you lost one of your USB3 slot there.
4- You have to pass the USB cable trough the PC case, install a plate with a hole for it ... that horrible ... when you check you PC after installation, you saw a blue wire jumping out the case to go plug in MB port... Fell like have a machine from the prehistoric age of PC ...
5- missing hole in the plastic adapter, so i had to drill it myself
6- the plastic adapter and USB hub facing are black...but not the same black...
7- my case facing are made in plastic with glossy finish, the adapter is flat finish and the hub is semi-gloss ... imagine the look of the facing of my brand new PC now...

Other Thoughts: lost 1 egg for very very poor aesthetic
lost 1 egg for missing hole and poor quality of the adapter
lost 1 egg for the missing MB connector and the lost of one external USB3 slot ... I don't knot what they have thought... when you buy hub is because you need more slot not for losing one...
So keep 2 egg because the hub work as expected ;-)

Pros: All 4 USB ports work fine. Speed unknown.

Cons: Power via 4 pin molex, but doable.
Data cable is USB Type-B at the hub end hub to USB Type-A.
My MOBO has 2 internal 20 pin USB 3.0 headers and 4 internal
USB headers and NO (0) internal Type A plugs.
The hub came with a metal bracket with a 1/4" x 1/2 " slot which puzzled me until I realized it was so the USB cable could be run out the back of the case and plugged into an external USB port.

Other Thoughts: Adapters for the USB Type A plug cost more than the Hub.
Caveat emptor!

Pros: Fast, compatible.

Cons: At sometimes, after being on a for a long period of time, it will loose connection and only a power off will fix it. Not to much of an issue since i reboot my machine about ever 3 days.

Pros: Works.

Cons: Incorrect and missing screws. Need screws with large heads to secure device on 5.25 housing which were not provided. Needed different screws to secure to case. Uses external connector for internal device to work. Uses plastic housing which is flimsy at best. Uses older power connector, not sata.

Other Thoughts: Had to reverse engineer this thing so I could connect it, leaving a hole in the back of the case where an external USB port existed previously.
