Pros: Kinda inexpensive

Cons: Broke after very little use. The plug where the cable plugs in to the case broke and fell inside. I had used it maybe 4 times.

Other Thoughts: After it broke I took the case apart and discovered how cheaply made it is. I do not recommend buying this.

Pros: Drive drops in easy to change

Cons: Does not show SMART info

Pros: Fast swapping of 2.5 satas.

cant get simpler to use

Cons: Broke in less then a week of use.

Other Thoughts: I popped the case open to look at the board (2 screws). Noticed the soldered connect between the USB 3 and board are broken. This makes me sad as I have had this enclosure for about a week. There was no dropping or yanking on the cable and it broke from normal use.

Pros: Easy to install.
Bought this to show how easy it is to make your own External Hard Drive.
Nothing has broken.

Cons: When installing the drive or plugging in the USB to the external case, the case slides open if one isn't holding the case properly. This really isn't a con, I swap 2.5" drives out frequently, FYI.

Other Thoughts: Cheap plastic, but I already knew that when I ordered this product. This surprisingly is actually better than my (2x) CoolMAX and (3x) MassCool aluminium external cases I have bought. The controller on the other External Harddrives were not powerful enough to run WesternDigital AV-25 500GB HardDrives, but this external can run Western Digital Red 1TB.

Pros: Easy to install the disk drive into the enclosure. Runs relatively fast on its USB3 interface.

Cons: Not my favorite tool less design. Once when I was inserting the USB cord in the front, it pushed the drive back and opened the back as well. This does not harm anything, but now I hold the back as I insert the cable to prevent it from happening again.

Other Thoughts: White plastic feels relatively cheap. Oh wait, it was cheap. I normally like metal cases for heat dissipation, but since I was putting an SSD into it, I didn't think it was necessary in this case.
