4 out of 5 eggsFits perfectly

Pros: Easy to install
Fits perfectly in the case
The screw holes for the SSD and the case are aligned perfectly
Comes with screws

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: It is a metal plate painted in black :-D
I didnt have any issues installing it. The screw holes for the SSD are perfectly aligned. Same is the case with the screw holes for installing it in the case. I use a NZXT SOURCE 220 Case.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Bracket

Pros: Solid bracket, comes with screws, allows for mounting of 2.5" SSD / HDD in a 3.5" bay, American made!

Cons: Very slightly pricey for a bracket, but there really wasn't a huge selection of cheaper options here on Newegg so, not enough to deduct an egg

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent adaptor

Pros: Bought it to install a SSD drive in a customer computer. Light, well made, easy to install. No real complaints about it, does what it needs to.

Cons: only holds one 2.5 inch drive? lol guess that really isnt a con because I knew that before I ordered it and didnt need it to hold 2. . .

Other Thoughts: good bang for the buck. If you need a adaptor to get a SSD drive in your 3.5 inch bay, cant go wrong with this one.

2 out of 5 eggsDoes not fit my supermicro

Pros: Mounts an SSD to 3.5"

Cons: I purchased this mount because I need to fit my SSD into my supermicro hot swap bay. I was hopeful because it has an offset mount. Unfortunately it does not fit. The offset isn't in the correct position.

4 out of 5 eggsNice basic tray

Pros: - Minimum use of material
- Nice finish
- Comes with screws
- Recessed screws on bottom
- Relatively cheap
- Positions the drive off-center, so the connectors end up where they're supposed to be

Cons: - Shallow
- As with most of these, you can't mount it from the bottom, only the sides

Other Thoughts: Comparing this with the similarly-priced Nippon Labs HDB-250, its advantages are that it positions the drive off center, so if your use case requires the SATA and power connectors to be in the standard location they will line up, the holes on the side for mounting seem to be closer to the standard pattern for a 3.5" drive, and the screws on the bottom are recessed, so it does better if you need it to sit flush or slide against something.

The disadvantages are that it's not as heavy duty, very shallow, and not very long, and it costs a couple bucks more.

It also has a smooth powder coated finish compared to the other tray's rough finish. On balance I prefer this one to the alternative.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Dell Boxes

Pros: Offset screw holes allows you to configure it to fit into a dell HDD caddy without any modifications. Metal for strength and stability. Includes mounting screws.

Cons: A little pricey for what it is but at least its an American company
