5 out of 5 eggsI miss this product

Pros: To this day, I have owned Corsair, Antec, PC Power and Cooling, and Coolmax(Boy that was a trip), and Rosewill power supplies.

This Xigmatek PSU was the most silent PSU I ever owned. Xigmatek was a HSF manufacturer before they made PSU's, and they did the fan right. The 140mm fan was dead silent. The ambient noise of my apartment was louder than this PSU at all times, even at heavy load.

I ran a 5830 overclocked mining Bitcoins 24/7 on this PSU. It ran with no hiccups.

Cons: I have nothing negative to say about this product, except that it's a shame Xigmatek doesn't make these anymore.

Other Thoughts: I would buy 2 if they were still for sale.

Pros: Purchased for $35.

Cons: Lasted about 2 days. With the cost of the RMA I will have to do, I should have bought a better PS

1 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: Worked good for a cheap power supply. Was looking for a good power supply in the price range.

Cons: Failed within 4 months: system started acting real funny and the fan is making horrendous noise!

Went to website to contact support and found none. Had to use the Contact Us by email thing. Not very reassuring...

Other Thoughts: I hope they can back up their product in a reasonable amount of time.

1 out of 5 eggsStarted out great, but....

Pros: Inexpensive initially.

Cons: Lasted about 4 months and the fan started clunking! You can hear this thing from 20 yards!

Other Thoughts: With the cost of the RMA I will have to do, I should have bought a better PS. I will start to look somewhere else for better quality.

Pros: Works very well, I am using it to power my RepRap and is doing this famously.

Cons: None, it works.

1 out of 5 eggsGreen it's not

Pros: Good price

Cons: Wattage consumed not as advertised!

Highest consuming power supply I own (my PSUs are over 8 years old).

Waste of time.

First time buying an 80+ Bronze PSU...I will try another brand in the future but I am not holding much credibility to this rating from now on....buyer beware.
