5 out of 5 eggsExcellent product

Pros: Excellent psu, I have used this in many builds since 2010 and it has outlasted all other manufacturers. Phenom ii x4 965 @ 3.9GHz, Athlon ii x2 240e @ 3.5GHz, FX 8350 @ 4660 and wide open all the time, no heat, no white noise, and no hot smell as from other psu. Guys complaining about this product I have no idea what you did but it was WRONG.

Cons: None, used for 3 years wide open, if id died today I would be upset but would gladly buy from Xigmatek again. I also have an Utgard case and other products and am extremely satisfied with all their products

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal

Pros: 700W
Low cost

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have had problems with other power supplies supporting my system, but this had worked steady without a single hiccup for more than 5 months now.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooler

Pros: I love the look, it's ability to keep things amazingly cool, and it's cheap price.

Cons: Horrible install. One bolt was stripped initially and I had to make do with what I had.

Other Thoughts: None

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it is supposed to do

Pros: *It's a nice heavy unit and has the feel and look of quality construction.
*Good price/performance ratio.
*I like the fan, long shielded cables, and included extras like zip ties, etc.
*It currently powers a single XFX HD6870.

Cons: *Would be nice if it was modular but I knew it wasn't going in to the purchase so I can't complain.

1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy

Pros: None.

Cons: 12V Rails do not even output 12V. Computer constantly warned of too low voltage. Now, the PSU can not even run more than 2 minutes.

Warranty is garbage. Have to email customer support in order to get any help.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this power supply. I will say it again...do not buy this power supply. Newegg.com should remove this product due to how hard the warranty is to get. I purchased this unit but did not get around to putting it in my machine until after the return policy had expired. That was the second mistake that I made after making the first mistake of buying a no name power supply. Please save yourself the hassle and buy a known brand name psu.

1 out of 5 eggsRandom Shutdown and won't restart

Pros: Good Price, Warranty Period, Shielded Cables, Length and connections

Cons: I bought the PSU in July. Finished buying the rest of system and building the system in late August. System shuts down randomly after a few minutes and won't restart without unplugging for awhile. Connected another psu with less wattage and the system runs fine.

Other Thoughts: Newegg says I need to contact Xigmatek since it's past 30 days.
Unable to contact Xigmatek.
email doesn't work and there is no return information at their site.
Always had great service with newegg but selling a product that you can't contact the manufacturer has me ticked. 75$ paperweight

1 out of 5 eggsUnable to contact Xigmatek for Warranty

Pros: Shielded Cables and Length. Plenty of Connections.

Cons: Bought the PSU in early july - built a new system in late august. PSU ran for 2 days. System shuts down after a few minutes. Put in another psu with less watts and it runs fine. Newegg says its past 1 month so I need to contact Xigmatek. Company has no warranty return information and company email bounces. so no way to get replacement!!!

Other Thoughts: I checked feedback for other Xigmatek models and find that only way people got help after 30 days was if newegg got involved

2 out of 5 eggsgreat while it lasted

Pros: -relatively cheap for 700W of power

Cons: -emphasis on cheap
-this thing literally lasted for 1.5 months. played some black ops one day and poof... whole system shut off as if i unplugged the power cord (i didn't, mind you). tried to power it back on and now it comes on for 3-5 seconds and goes off again. tried to jumpstart this power supply with just the case fans and same thing happened.

Other Thoughts: Gonna try the warranty to see if maybe it's just my power supply that was poorly built.. but you can bet I won't be buying or recommending any of their power supplies anytime soon.
