5 out of 5 eggsFully capable PSU

Pros: It works like a charm got it for my AMD powered Star Wars Empire Data system themed build. Put it and a Xigmatek 700w in a dual PSU config in a Azza Genesis 9000 black and red case Where its main dutys are to power 2 XFX R7950s in Crossfire, a 12v coolant pump, fan controller, and some (6) 140mm fans. Hasn't had a hiccup yet so I'm pleased with my choice.

Cons: None yet..... oh wait it wasn't free LOL.

Other Thoughts: I donno what the other reviewers are complaining about I have no problems with my Xigmatek NRP it does what it needs to do and don't wine about it.

1 out of 5 eggsI take it back

Pros: Was nice when it worked

Cons: This was just a heart breaker and absolute frustration. I left this PSU on over night to test it (not attached to my MOBO (that's another story)). Went in this morning and my friend told me that I might want to sit down. He told me that he was working and he herd a POP come from my tower and as he looked over the fans on my case slowed to a stop.

So now I am returning it, and guess what?! It's going to cost be $20 dollars to send it to California! This PSU has LESS THAN 5 HOURS ON IT!

I'm essentially stuck with a PSU I'm going to be scared of for as long as I have it. Should have known better.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to be physically ill for about 5 hours this morning. Just the thought of this thing blowing in my PC (shudder) when its done dose not attract me at ALL. trading out asap for a well known psu.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent PSU

Pros: 1000 watt PSU for under $120
All voltages are on the high side ( IE 12V rail is 12.15V not 11.85V)
Showed up in two days (very nice)

Cons: None that are worth an egg over my only complaint is that there is no voltage select. 115 to 220 but I'm not traveling so who cares.

Other Thoughts: Sharp looking PSU and the fan is ghost whisper quiet. If cable management is important then I would not recommend this for a cramped case the cables were more like rods they do NOT want to flex. took a little elbow grease to get the cable to 180 for my CPU connection. Would not have been a problem if not for the location of my connection otherwise. Still love this PSU though.

1 out of 5 eggsForget the warranty

Pros: Works

Cons: Limited Warranty period (parts): 3 years
Limited Warranty period (labor): 3 years

DON'T buy this power supply based on warranty. This company does not stand behind its products. Mine was bought from Newegg, is still in warranty and is now deader than a doornail after failing to start up one morning, and because they no longer make that exact model, Xigmatek will neither fix nor replace it.

Other Thoughts: I had always thought well of Xigmatek, enough to buy a number of their products over the past several years. And any company that fronts a 3-5 year warranty must mean it, right? Is the fact that they no longer make that exact model enough to get them off the hook? I don't think so.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding product

Pros: I put this power system into a 932-HAF CoolerMaster case that is running two ATI-6970's in CrossFire with 8gb of Patriot G2 RAM and an AMD x6 phenom II. Case lights, a lightscribe DVD multi-recorder, and 5 fans with a 1tb 7200rpm harddrive. I have not had a problem. No power blinks, no brown out like symptoms, cool running, this power supply is a beast and I Highly Recommend it.

Cons: NONE!
