5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Power Supply

Pros: Works great. It is super quiet And it came at a great price!

Cons: Apparently they don't sell them anymore!! That is only complaint I have, as I realllly love this power supply; and I would love to buy another one for my brother's computer I am about to build!

Other Thoughts: I am a Network Administrator, and I am honestly saying that Diablotek is a great and cheap alternative to buying the pricier Corsair power supplies. Do not get me wrong, if you can afford the Corsair then DO SO. But if you are trying to build a computer on a very small budget and need a great power supply, this is the one!

2 out of 5 eggsNot very good

Pros: It works and it's cheap.

Cons: Loud. Low quality.

Other Thoughts: Ordered this PSU because I was short on cash and it was on sale. First one I received was DOA (started smoking when it was plugged in actually), second one works fine. Though fan is extremely loud in my opinion. It's definitely worth it to spend a few more bucks and get a better supply.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: This is a nice power supply, 450 watts, plenty of connectors, it has the 4 and 8 pin CPU connectors, it also has 4 SATA connectors, with 3 sata hard drives and one sata DVDRW this was important to me. Look closely before buying, lot's of power supplies are lacking in the sata dept. Who wants to put adapters in a brand new power supply?

Cons: I had to pay for it.

Other Thoughts: I am still waiting on my 10 dollar rebate. That was nice to have thrown in. The supply is well made and I think it is a bargain.

1 out of 5 eggsDiablotex PSU

Pros: Cheap and looked great.

Cons: Worked for 3 days then quit.

Other Thoughts: It was so cheap I just didn't care to deal with any kind of return process. I replaced it with an "emergency buy" 'rocketfish' PSU that is still running strong today. yeah.... rocketfish.

4 out of 5 eggsgood while it lasted

Pros: Cheap, looks decent, was pretty quiet. It worked really well for the year I had it.

Cons: after unplugging it and moving it 8 feet across the room I plugged it back I'm and it made a crackling never worked after that. Its cheap though so can't really be too upset.

Other Thoughts: its cheap so don't expect too much.

1 out of 5 eggsFollowup on RMA (1/9/13)

Pros: It's pretty. Sleeved cables. Nice packaging.

Cons: First one had power fluctuation problems, the second one didn't work at all.
The return shipping amount has already cost me enough to have justified paying double and buying a proven brand the first time.
My bad for trying to save my client some money on his new build. Next time, I'll go with the better brands that I know and charge my customers more.

Other Thoughts: This is a followup on the RMA I received from Newegg. The replacement arrived DOA. Absolutely did not work at all. I'm very disappointed in Diablotek. How can a factory line slap "Passed" QA tags on it's product and roll out something that simply doesn't work correctly or at all?
One egg only because I was forced to select one.
Look elsewhere for your PSU needs!

3 out of 5 eggsnot great

Pros: The casing is nice, it's somewhat heavy, and the silicone anti-vibration feature is sort of nice.

Cons: It constantly makes a subtle, quiet, high pitched noise. That's not a real good sign. I've had other PSUs like this and it tends to get louder over time. Maybe I just got a bad one but this really isn't a very good power supply. The fan is a bit loud but not outrageous. It's still far from the noise level on any PSU with dual 80mm fans.

Other Thoughts: I've used about 10 Diablotek PHD350's and never had a problem and you'd think the 450's would be nicer. 350's are discontinued now and given the price, I don't think this is the best alternative. A Seasonic power supply for a couple bucks more is infinitely better than this one.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: It works. Simple as that. I've used Diablotek before and I went back to them on a recent build. No complaints per usual.

Cons: cables seem to be just long enough for mid tower cases. Might be an issue with full tower. I wouldn't risk it if you were using full tower case unless you got extensions for some of the cords.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Very nice cable shielding with lots of connectors. Nice looking.

Cons: Recent price increase. I bought this a week ago for $10 less. Product was defective upon arrival. New build would not boot properly, loss of USB power, auto-reboot, failed POST several times. Voltmeter testing showed that it produced very wide power fluctuations on both the 24 pin MB and 4 pin CPU connectors. I didn't bother testing the other connectors.

Other Thoughts: It's a cheap product, so be prepared for disappointment. I've purchased other Diablotek product and they have always performed flawlessly. This one didn't. Buyer beware.
