5 out of 5 eggsCheap but good

Pros: Works well, fans are better than I thought. Good length to the wires

Cons: The wires feel cheap as does the switch in the back as expected.

Other Thoughts: OEM replacement on a HP, worked great for the price

2 out of 5 eggsWorks, but started screeching.

Pros: Very inexpensive, good for a budget.

Cons: My PSU started screeching/ squealing as soon as I hit the power button and I have to bang the back of it to get it to stop. Other than that, the fans still work and haven't had any issues with it.

Other Thoughts: I learned my lesson, it's not a good idea to skimp out and buy a cheap PSU.

1 out of 5 eggsDiabloTek PSDA350 Power Supply

Pros: None

Cons: Bad soldering
Never worked

Other Thoughts: I bought this knowing that it was cheap, and I didn't expect much. I was just going to use it to keep my old computer alive while I built a gaming rig. I opened the box and everything looked nice. Good packaging, had all the cables and the user manual, and it felt good. I hooked the computer up, plugged it in, switched it on and...... a whole lot of nothing happened. I pulled out my multimeter, and found that all of the outputs were dead. I decided that I would open it up. It was only $20 dollars. When I got it open, I flipped the board over, and to my surprise, about 7 of the solder connections had come undone, like something pushed it through the board. Very disappointing. First experience with Newegg, but I plan to keep using them considering this was a manufacturer problem, and they are being very helpful.

3 out of 5 eggsStandard, affordable, works

Pros: It works. It's very affordable. It has all the modern connectors included for desktop PCs (not including PCIe aux power for performance rigs).

Cons: Low-end, which is fine for the price. Not complete garbage like many cheapies.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again. Works fine as a drop-in repl. for most low-to-mid range desktops.

1 out of 5 eggsBlew up immediately during a test run

Pros: None. This power supply despite being very competitively priced was not worth any of the money we spent on it.

Cons: This PSU blew a capacitor immediately when we ran our first power on test.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this product. Spend $30 and get an Antec.
