1 out of 5 eggsNot so good.

Pros: There sadly aren't any pros for this item.

Cons: This power supply had worked with my computer for only one day. I had made a mistake in not reading the reviews first. It is highly recommended that you don't purchase this, unless you are wishing to waste $33, which I am sure no one would like to do.

1 out of 5 eggsWorks when it wants to, which is almost NEVER

Pros: It is CAPABLE of generating power...But then again so it a potato.

Cons: Doesn't always work, and when it does it's pretty loud and not very efficient and doesn't turn back on if you turn it off.
So obviously, I bought this because it was cheap, which was a terrible idea on my part, but I was cutting it pretty close to my budget. It's not that it's wattage wasn't high enough either, my PC only draws 275 watts when running games. This is just a BAD power supply, and comes dead or dying in the box. DO NOT BUY!

Other Thoughts: Send this back from where it came.

3 out of 5 eggsKind of alright

Pros: It was cheap, and it has worked great for the past 2 years. As far as the power supply itself goes, it's still fine.

Cons: After 2 years of pretty heavy use, one of the fans is on its last leg. It makes an awful sound and is probably going to fail soon.

Other Thoughts: Probably should've actually registered the product so it would be under warranty, but oh well.

1 out of 5 eggsdead - 6 months maybe?

Pros: cheap $$ - bought for $20 locally.

Cons: Had issues from the get go - 500W not enough to power an old Athlon, standard GFX and 4 HDD? I think should be...
Flaky on occasional, but just basically exploded on me (literally - sparks shooting out).

Other Thoughts: get what you pay for...or don't get...

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's 500w, solid, plenty of SATA connectors.

Cons: None really, other than I would prefer a higher wattage... but as a 500w goes this one is adequate.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: Lots of connectors.

Cons: DEAD

Other Thoughts: I purchased this product after reading reviews saying that their psu only lasted 6 months before dying. I wasn't even that lucky. It worked fine pushing a system that honestly probably only needed a 250W PSU. Then, one night while doing some work, I heard a *pop* and my system went down. Plugged it into a tester and the only line to be receiving any current was the +5VSB.

Then, to add insult to injury, just like several other reviewers have noted, the Diablotek customer service is nonexistent. I've put in several RMA requests and am yet to receive a response of any sort.

Again, DO NOT BUY! You WILL not be different, you WILL not get lucky, and you WILL end up being sorry. Wait for a sale and buy a dependable brand with a warranty they are willing to stand by like Corsair.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible Customer Service! (or should i say none)

Pros: cheap

Cons: they tend to burst into flames, if you have a problem, forget about getting an RMA, company unresponsive.

Other Thoughts: I've had 3 of these power supplies go out within 2 months of owning them. 1 of them burst into flames, and almost burnt the place down! I've sent several requests for RMA to Diablotek, and they do not respond. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DIABLOTEK, THEY ARE A SHAM!

1 out of 5 eggsGood for 1 Year

Pros: Had no complaints from July of 2011 until October of 2012. In October of 2012 the bearings in the fan started going out which made it very loud. It was/is advertised with a 3 year warranty, so I tried multiple times to contact Diablotek via the website and email that newegg listed for warranty. It has been over a month with no response. This is not an expensive power supply (PSDA500) but I still expect the warranty to be honored when advertised.

Cons: No support/warranty

Other Thoughts: I will not buy from Diablotek again.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap 500 watt power supply. Quiet. Light in weight.

Cons: Out of box was bad, got a second one and it only lasted me 7 months.

Other Thoughts: The first power supply was dead out of box, so I got another one and THIS power supply lasted me 7 months before it just stopped working. However Diablotek comes with a 3 year warranty.. Not so fast... Don't think that's really a GOOD thing.

Diablotek's customer service is HORRIBLE. Just to first get an RMA took a few days, and when there was an issue or a problem, they don't tell you, you just have to keep calling to check in.. I then sent my power supply to get replaced, took about 3 days to get there (standard shipping and got there on a Tuesday) which then they said wasn't officially in there computers as received till THURSDAY (2 days to verify a return.. SERIOUSLY?) and it's now Friday and they STILL haven't sent it out yet.

So a week for them to "officially" get it on their side, and if they don't send it out today (Friday) then they PROBABLY won't send it out till Monday, which takes 3-5 days to get HERE, which means I probably won't get it until NEXT Thursday. So TWO-THREE weeks to do an even exchange on a power supply.

The power supply cost $22 at the time (only about $30 now) the shipping to send it for a return was $10.. A warning to all.. If your power supply burns out like mine did, BUY A NEW ONE. This return policy trash is HORRIBLE and is NOT worth the trouble. I'll spend the extra 10-20 bucks to get my power supply in 3 days than 3 WEEKS.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None

Cons: Only the LED on MB turns on. Requested RMA and got it after 3 weeks. "Luckily" I had the box, power cord, booklet and screws. Sent them back (cost $10.00) and after about 10 days got a box with a used PS and nothing else. This one is dead from start. I gave up.

Other Thoughts: I’ll stay away from Diablotek.
