1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Junk

Cons: Junk

Other Thoughts: I bought this to revive an old PC to remove data. Used once unplugged and put the PC in storage. Plugged in the other day and the this power supply is dead. Failed from sitting in the dark

2 out of 5 eggsWarranty service is poor

Pros: fits in micro-atx box
plenty of connectors
easy install

Cons: warranty support is non-existent, 3 year warranty, but I've only been able to get one replaced. After that, they don't even respond to calls or emails. I've given up and moved to any other brand.

Other Thoughts: I bought several of these due to the 3 year warranty. I learned my lesson.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy This

Pros: It's cheap and a decent quality build

Cons: You get less than what you can with other products of the same price range. Specifically, the connections and wattage are far inferior in both variety and general spec to those of it's competition.

1 out of 5 eggsHello FCC

Pros: It does work, but is unusable for me.

Cons: I began to notice that when the pc this was in was on, I was getting a lot of static on my radio. It got to the point where this thing puts out so much emi/rfi, it's impossible to listen to a radio n my house., or my back yard.

Other Thoughts: Perhaps the Fcc would be interested in looking at this. I don't think manufacturer's are allowed to put out a device with this much rfi.

2 out of 5 eggsDead in less than a year

Pros: Small, cheap, and has ample connectors

Cons: Lasted a little less than a year

Other Thoughts: This is used on a small file server, lasted a little less than year, it was on nearly constantly, and powered through a UPS, so voltage spikes should not have been a problem.

This will not be replaced with a Diablotek Power supply.

4 out of 5 eggsAverage

Pros: Good for running graphics cards, good for power that you need for your computer, very useful vibration dampener.

Cons: Do not get this if you have a low profile case or slimline type computer, i thought this would fit but now i have to leave my case side off so this could work, you have to have a regular size computer case not a small one!

Other Thoughts: All and all its good to work even if it didn't fit.

4 out of 5 eggsImprovement over stock

Pros: A big (220W) improvement over the weenie PSU on an old Pavilion of mine. The fan is VERY powerful, and not any noisier than the old unit.

Cons: As someone mentioned, the wiring is a bit of a rat's nest.

Other Thoughts: Surprisingly cheap shipping for such a heavy parcel.

Why can't these things come with more modular and removable cabling?

A good, cheap investment to give a new life to an old, Micro ATX form factor computer.

3 out of 5 eggsJust average

Pros: Small form factor works for my space, high power for a small psu, clean power feed when tested, lots of molex connectors, the breakaway cables that let you take them apart depending on how the motherboard is laid out fit together seamless, this is a real plus since most high dollar brand named psus don't get this right

Cons: lots of gripes for improvement, fan is super loud and spinning super fast which is unnecessary for cooling, wiring has no braiding or heat shrinking to aid air flow, plus the wiring is at random lengths which looks crazy, and the casing is a dull gray, could be painted black- which would be in Diablotek's best interest since no other micro atx psu in neweggs inventory is black, and the thousand warranty stickers on the case, why?
and initially starting up the power supply resulted in transformer heat smell which is crazy since the sticker on the case says burn in test ok, how do you burn in a psu and still have that new transformer heat smell, i think that sticker is junk and your not "burning it in"

Other Thoughts: I would think twice about buying this psu due to fan noise, I had to void my warranty once tested to be in working order of course, just so i could replace the fan with one thats not ridiculous loud and still moves air through the psu. keep in mind that the reason its moving so much air is its trying to evacuate all the air in the computer case, well i don't need that, i've got a 140mm fan that accomplishes the same thing, if your computer has no other fans in the case then its ok to be running that fast.
