4 out of 5 eggsLgnoto

Pros: Very Cheap, and stable so far at the one month mark.

Cons: After reading a few other reviews on this site, it does have me a bit concerned. No real negatives showing up yet, but the worry that it'll die sits at the back of one's mind.

Other Thoughts: Got this PSU because it was cheap and had 6 SATA power adapters. Works great so far though.

1 out of 5 eggsDont do it.

Pros: Cheap as dirt

Cons: Owned for just a few days past a month, burnt up.

i mean literally burnt up. i barely got it out of my system and into the yard. burnt my thumb a little. now my basement smells like burnt rubber and i had to switch back to the 450 corsair i had before i got my AMD r9 270x card, and i cant play any of my games. bummer.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS. i know it is cheap and attractive, i would only buy this as a last resort gotta-have-a-psu and dont mind spending 30 bucks for a month or so of use. i also wouldnt recommend putting much stress on it.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't even bother guys. I know it's tempting.

Pros: The only pros here go to Newegg's customer service which has always been great with me. Prepaid return labels and I even got my shipping cost refunded becuase it was also delayed. Thanks Newegg.

Cons: Delayed shipment. PSU fried within 10 minutes. It was really cheap so I had to at least try it but it was a fail. Very basic PSU. Big mess of cords. I was looking for cheap mining power but this PSU went up in smoke (not literally, smelt burnt, shut off, and won't power on anymore) with only 300Watts on it.

Other Thoughts: If you are here looking at how bad these are to try your luck, I'm sorry to say you will be disappointed. Spend the extra 20$ and get a real PSU. At least something that is smart enough to shut off when it receives more load than it can handle instead of frying components. You've been warned.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It was inexpensive...

Cons: ...but it is junk. Died after only 3 months. I put this on an old PC I have in my garage that's just used for internet and music. I use this PC maybe once a week (if that) and it's on a high-quality surge protector. I only need 400 watts and 20 amps on the 12v rail so this PS should have been overkill.

Other Thoughts: Now I have to deal with Diablotek's warranty and hope for the best.

5 out of 5 eggsMy fan Just started making noise

Pros: Its been working great since June of 2011. Powerful and has every connection I could need. Great price, then and now. The Bottom fan just started making some heavy noise. I made sure it wasn't simply dust or some obstruction, but unfortunately its not, a simple fan replacement is needed. I'm still in the 3 year warranty time range. I am going to attempt to get it fixed through the Warranty.

Cons: The fan started making a loud noise, almost at the 3 year mark.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: I bought this power supply after my system began to kill whatever RAM was put in it. Since I did not know the specific culprit I purchased a new MoBo, Ram, and Power supply. This was in 2011, the replacements were for a system I built in 2008! Needless to say it was difficult to even FIND an AM2 MoBo. I digress. For $30 I couldn't have any complaints. I installed the new MoBo, RAM, and PS and haven't had an issue since. It's running an nVidia 8800 GTS, sound card, and 3 80mm fans. Never had an issue! Great buy! Actually thinking about buying another for my upcoming build. I spent extra dough on a silverstone that burnt up and this one has been doing the job since...price doesn't mean quality!

Cons: none so far. Running 3 years strong!

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Price, Mediocre Product

Pros: It powered on, and replaced a stock HP power supply just fine for the time that it was working and installed (about 4 months)

Cons: After about 4 months of extremely light use (150 watts max average power draw), the rear exhaust fan bearing wore out and starting making a horrible noise. The power supply itself was still operating fine, but for the fan to die out that quick is just unacceptable.

Really ugly cables. Not a single rail is sleeved, and makes for absolutely horrid cable management (shorter than desired rails).

Other Thoughts: Despite the fact that the power supply itself was still functional, The fan in a power supply is just as integral of a component as the rails themselves, and if any one part of the product fails, I consider it a total loss. I shouldn't have to take apart a power supply, voiding its warranty, just to have a quiet power supply again.

5 out of 5 eggsLow cost Power Supply

Pros: It has worked for a year without issues
Single 12V rail

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Cheap power supplies can be a gamble however this one paid off for me. For a simple low budget computer this works well.
