3 out of 5 eggsJunkdy hoopty!

Pros: great for the price, but dont expect to actually pull this things peak wattage safely.

Cons: I cannot back up the fact that this is a 300 watt psu. after trying it in a few systems it has settled in my 90W mediacenter.

Other Thoughts: I cannot recommend, but to et a unit on a dime it will work.

1 out of 5 eggsWASTE OF MONEY

Pros: it worked for when it did

Cons: only had it for 8 weeks and already dead

Other Thoughts: I don't even pc game, 300 watts should've easily kept up for day to day task. if you got 20 bucks save it till you find another 20 so you don't have to deal with a let down like this

4 out of 5 eggsMore than Enough for the Basics

Pros: Cheap, Enough Connections

Cons: Don't need that many Molex connections

Other Thoughts: This one powers my server so it's on 24/7 and has not failed me. Even during summer heat it is still going strong. Very impressed.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor quality, use as a temporary spare

Pros: The low price. Quiet. Will keep as a spare.

Cons: When I used this power supply I had to turn the computer on wait for a moment and then turn it off and back on quickly. Once running it was able to keep the computer powered and worked as a temporary. I replaced it with a quality power supply after a few weeks.

Other Thoughts: I doubt the output of this is very clean and I believe that it could damage components. Mine did seem to work once warmed up and I didn't lose any hardware to it.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy Diablotek

Pros: Price?

Cons: Very low quality build inside, you can see in the pics!
This is not a good power supply.

Other Thoughts: Don't let the black connectors and 120mm fan fool you. Inside, it lacks input filtering, which is not safe.
This is far from "well built"
This would be okay for like something very low power (e.g, Intel Atom server with 1 or 2 HDD's or something.

1 out of 5 eggsDamaged 2 Harddrives

Pros: Taught me a lesson about cheap off-brand PSU's.

Cons: Bought this to make a cheap secondary computer. I had a few problems with the build, but I assumed it was the motherboard, and after a few tries got Windows installed. Several months later the system began hanging, and I received hardrive sector errors. Eventually I replaced the power supply with a decent brand. I was then able to reinstall Windows no problem, all the problems I associated with the motherboard went away. However the original harddrives I had installed had unrecoverable errors and were damaged beyond repair. This bad choice of a PSU cost me a fortune in damaged hardware. I won't make that mistake again.

3 out of 5 eggsBasic Power Supply

Pros: Inexpensive, quiet, big fan.

Cons: Feels cheap, metal bends easily, light weight.

Other Thoughts: If you need a temporary power supply, then go for this one. If you plan on using this one for a while, I suggest you get another one. In my opinion, it is now well built. The metal bends easily so you have to be carefull installing it. I plan on buying a different one. But as I said, if you want a temporary PSU, go with this one.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great price! Has plenty of cables for powering newer and older drives.

Cons: None for me, but that's because 300W of power is all I need for basic computing.

Other Thoughts: I just got this and put it in today to replace an old one, and so far so good. Very easy to install.
