3 out of 5 eggsI agree with other users

Pros: it does its job but painfully

Cons: Well, as another user mentioned; the wholes on the sides are not for your average screws. I don't know exact specifics of screw sizes but if you were to put this inside an Antec case, it's hard to screw in the long screws that Antec provides or any screw for that matter. Last night I got a workout using "different kinds of screws" just to "unthread/dethread" the screw holes. By doing so, I opened up space, slowly but steadily. (sounds like I'm talking about another subject matter) Nonetheless after working out my arms and wrists of opening up the threads for the screws I was able to align this bracket with the Antec case. I only got 1 screw to align with the case.

Other Thoughts: I did read and I should've known better. We as techies try to "ignore" facts or even opinions of other users sometimes. We believe, oh right...just their luck. Sometimes some products are just born defective, useless and NewEgg as slick as they are...they sometimes reduce the costs of these items or add them as freebies/ add ons to bigger items. Cool strategy.

1 out of 5 eggsTry a different product

Pros: May work if your hard drive rack width is a lot wider than a 3.5 inch hard drive.

Cons: The width of a SSD with these brackets attached is significantly wider than a 3.5 inch hard drive. So wide it would not allow installation into my system.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately I bought 2 of these pieces of junk.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Quality, but must mount using M3 screws

Pros: Not absurdly priced
Great Quality
Looks Nice
Solid, sturdy, and fits bay snuggly

Cons: 3.5" Bay Devices are usually threaded for 6-32 screws, but this bracket is threaded for M3 screws. It includes screws, so if you want to mount it in a standard bay you shouldn't have a problem. Unfortunately, the case I installed it in came with drive mounting screws with rubber grommets for silent mounting, and naturally the screws were 6-32. If you have specific screws for mounting drives, double-check. Odds are, they aren't compatible.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again. Wish they had a model threaded for 6-32 screws. Would be nice if it was slightly less snug.
