5 out of 5 eggsSimple and works well

Pros: Title says it all. Dead simple installation. The powder coated aluminium finish is nice to feel and look at as well.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsScrews strip easily

Pros: The fit was fine.

Cons: Screws were useless and stripped very easily. Rather than risk getting them stuck, I used my own.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat for the price

Pros: 1. Vented for airflow to the bottom of the drive
2. Durable matte black finish
3. Perfect for the price
4. Does exactly what it says and works great.
Screws went in great, no problems on install. Finish is very durable, made a few slips and the finish held up great.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This bracket is perfect for my more modern builds. It has the nice matte black finish and a great low profile. All of the holes lined up perfectly, no stripped or cross-threaded screws. A great buy for the money

2 out of 5 eggsHard drive bracket

Pros: It's light weight and powder coated

Cons: I had to drill out the case mounting holes to get my Antec case screws to bite and hold the bracket in place

2 out of 5 eggsCaution!

Pros: Solid, metal, no flex. Very sturdy. Black screws provided secured 850 EVO perfectly. Slides into 3.5" drive slot comfortably.

Cons: However... I have an Antec 900 case which uses long screws to secure drive in case. The size of the holes in this bracket are SMALL and will not accept Antec screws. They do provide screw that fit but they will not work with this case.

Other Thoughts: I finally used duct tape to secure the bracket to the drive cage. This worked fine but not what I expected. I guess you could drill out the holes to accommodate a larger screw but why bother??

5 out of 5 eggsCheap, it fits, comes with the screws, does the job.

Pros: Easy solution to mounting that 2.5" HDD or SSD in a 3.5" bay. For non-SSD scenarios, I like that the 'floor' under the HDD is wide open, allowing some airflow. Many other mounts have no such 'venting'... why risk extra heat buildup?

Cons: None whatsoever.

2 out of 5 eggsLooks OK, lousy screws & holes

Pros: Looks nice, is "vented" (not solid) on the bottom

Cons: Uses small fine thread "floppy/cdrom style" screws, so I had to install this in a floppy slot in my case (my antec case uses the rubber isolated mounts and has special screws that are the coarse "hard drive" thread).

4 out of 5 eggsdecent rack

Pros: screws for the ssd and for the bracket slot,
holes are in the right spot,
black finish,
fits nicely in a typical case that you have to screw the hdd to the bracket

Cons: feels a little gritty, I have a case that you attached rails to the hdd so it made it a very tight squeeze to get in the bracket slot and now it's stuck and won't come out

Other Thoughts: overall this item absolutely serves it's purpose and would recommend it to help with sdd drives in a desktop computer

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for my needs

Pros: - Unexpectedly high build quality
- Paint finish is top notch
- Side holes are positioned exactly like a normal 3.5" HDD
- Stiff and holds form when put in tight places
- Fits in many 3.5" bays better than a 3.5" drive does
- Obvious which orientation and position to put the SSD in
- Vented on the bottom

Cons: - No extra screw holes on the bottom for those very few cases that use them for 3.5" drives
- Too thin in overall height to fit in obscure places like a 27" imac properly, but still works.
