2 out of 5 eggsTry a different one

Pros: 2 slots for SSHD's

Cons: Too tall. Would only fit in one 3.5" bay and nothing can be stacked next to it. Tool-less clips are a pain to click in/out of alignment. No mounting from tray to the top/bottom of HDD shelf (so 3.5" tray for case can't be used). Plastic feels cheap.

3 out of 5 eggsgood value UPDATE

Pros: Cheap. Flexible. Holds 2.5' drives very securely.

Cons: The biggest con of this thing is that it forces you to mount one drive 180 degrees from the other which means power and data cables have to cross in a tiny little space. When using a single SATA power cable it is almost impossible to get two drives connected with adjacent power leads. Even when that is accomplished it seems like there is too much stress on the cables to be a good thing...

Other Thoughts: Does hold 2 2.5" drives in a standard 3.5' bay but if the your case has bays that have less than about 1/4' between 3.6 bays it will not fit as there is about 1/8" of extra plastic on top and bottom. Not for very small cases as others have said. I also chopped off the "handle" on the front and just threw away the 'pins" that were in the middle.

2 out of 5 eggsWay too big for Mini ITX case.

Pros: Very cheap

Cons: Plastic "screw"-like pins do not secure the 2.5" device.
Too big for a Mini ITX case.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Works (eventually)
-Cheap
-Supports drive reasonably well

Cons: -Confusing to assemble -- Took me 10+ minutes the first time
-At least with my system, using this with more then 1 2.5" drive is not possible (though it technically supports 2
-Plastic feels cheap
-Uses plastic screws to secure drive

Other Thoughts: If you are in desperate need of an SSD / 2.5" HDD bracket, grab one of these. It works.

If you have a few more bucks to spend, find something that has metal parts, as the build quality will surely be better then this.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: snug fit, sturdy design, dual mounting ssd drives

Cons: Instructions.. got to play with the drives to seat properly. the Pins that secure the drive caddy in the case bay are not the greatest

Other Thoughts: Use screws to securely mount the caddy to the drive bay. The plastic pins they supply are flimsy and do not tighten.

2 out of 5 eggsdouble sided does not work

Pros: Low price

Cons: Does not fit in drive bay, the unit it too thick. I had to use a band saw to cut down the thickness. The system I was using it in is a Dell OptiPlex Small Form Factor 9010, It was replacing a stand 3.5 HD

4 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: 2.5" drives fit nice and snug without any screws as advertised. Puts 2 drives into one 3.5" bay. Very low cost.

Cons: It does not have bottom mount screw holes. My old Ultra Aluminus has HD trays that only have bottom mounting holes. The case is a piece of junk and I can't wait to upgrade it with a new build but if you have an older case that only mounts HDs with the bottom homes this won't work without some mods.

Other Thoughts: These will work very well with almost any modern case and holding two 2.5" drives in the space of one 3.5" gives great flexibility for airflow and cable management.

3 out of 5 eggsSimple but BIG

Pros: Simple easy installation no tools required to install. Strong enough to hold two (2) SSD drives easily.

Cons: The only con I have is this thing takes up two (2) drive bays because it's so thick on t he side rails so it can hold a second 2.5" drive. This bracket works great but I cannot put three (3) SATA drives (Seagate and Western Digital) under or over it. The sides of the bracket hit the top or bottom of the next drive. Bummer because other than that it's cool.

Other Thoughts: This bracket can hold two (2) SSD drivesbut it takes two (2) drive bays to it, because it's so thick to hold a second 2.5" drive. My PC is a '07 Alienware (think Dell), it has four (4) HD bays that are fan cooled. This bracket works great but I cannot put three (3) SATA drives (Seagate and Western Digital) under or over it. The sides of the bracket hit the top or bottom of the next drive and you can't get it past them to slide in. If I had a small power sander/grinder I could probably get it to fit, but I mean really...
So if you own a Dell computer chances are you'll lose a drive bay using this bracket. If you're ok with that it's a good deal and works fine.
(I've read where people have problems with the handle sticking out too far. I didn't have any issues with the handle)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value Adapter

Pros: Good Size
Handle (of debatable convenience)
Simple Installation
Does Job Well
Great Value

Cons: Cheap Plastic
Concerned about having to break pins to remove it

Other Thoughts: This is a very solid product. It does exactly what it sets out to do. The drives feel solid in the adapter, and the pins solidly keep the adapter in place.

Unfortunately, it is cheap plastic, and the pins will be a PITA to remove without breaking. Still, I can not complain too much, as it is a $5 component. It's well worth the money.
