5 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: With my new system build I wanted to do away with the classic hard-drives and went full SSD. I won't be swapping drives, so once they're in, they're in and it all works. It's not as flimsy as others state. I have screw free bays, but had to use screws on the 'other' side to keep it from moving around. It also provides for additional USB and card ports, a nice all-in-one solution.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsworks fine

Pros: pluged in easy enough, fired right up, windows auto installed drivers quickly, works as advertised

Cons: i gues i didn't think about it but be aware it will require 3 SATA power connections & 2 SATA data connections & 1 usb connection to get it fully operational so it does demand quite a bit of mother board space & power cables, the item does include 2 4pin power to SATA power cables however wich helped...

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, only uses one bay

Cons: HDD bays are slightly flimsy, but not really bad enough to remove a star unless you plan on yankin drives in and out every day...not really what this was made for though...

5 out of 5 eggsGood mobile racks

Pros: These are decent little mobile racks... They work as they should, beyond that, there isn't much to add.....

USB and card reader is a nice inclusion. I also purchased two of the ones with no reader and they work fine as well.

I would buy them again and recommend them to people.

Cons: Little hard to get in and out. But for the price I can NOT complain.

Other Thoughts: Like other reviewers mentioned, the lights are really bright. I picked these racks over other racks because I wanted the blue lights to match my case, but these are obnoxiously bright.

If the manufacturer reads this, please, keep using blue LED but find ones that aren't as bright.

In other thoughts, if the lights annoy you, just unplug them... The LED's aren't soldered to any circuit board and are attached VIA a plug.. You could also change them very easily if you wanted and are a DIY'er....

5 out of 5 eggsGood reader/dock

Pros: It's a good product, does the job that it's supposed to do. SD, microSD, and MemoryStick card slots all work. I don't have any CompactFlash cards so I can't say anything good/bad about that slot.

Plugged in a new WD Scorpio Blue HDD into the dock and it was recognized right away, just had to go through the usual initial formatting since it was a brand-new drive. No problems there.

2.5" drive snapped in just fine, just align the little nubs to fit in the HDD's side screw-holes. Mounted drive slides into the dock with no binding, smooth and slick with a *click* once the front pinch-tabs secure it.

Cons: Some other reviews have stated that the LED's are really bright... They're right... the LED's aren't just bright, they're NUCLEAR-FREAKIN'-SUN-BRIGHT. However, my computer has a front door/panel that closes over and covers up the dock/reader and conveniently covers up the LED's, so it's no problem for me :P

Other Thoughts: As far as the card slots taking up drive letters... well... yeah, that's what they do. Anytime you put a card in, Windows7 auto-detects it anyway and asks if you want to open it to view files, so I doubt that the average user (or even power user) will ever need to access it by the drive-letter anyway.

Yes, USB ports are "upside-down" but we've all played that game of "Am I putting the USB cord in the right way?" on normal ports so that's kind of moot.

Some card slots are a little tight and you have to push firmly to get the card in, but will probly loosen up a little more with further use.

5 out of 5 eggsUseful Little thing

Pros: -has all these different Card reader ports
-Two bays for SSDs. I use one of them for my SSD that holds my O/S
-nice filler slot-Activity light color matches my Build's color theme.

Cons: The Activity lights are BRIGHT! The HDD/SSD bay activity lights are really really bright, especially at night.

4 out of 5 eggsFix for 4 persistent drive letters

Pros: It does what it says on the box. Makes cloning laptop drives a snap. Yes it's made of plastic, for this amount of stuff at this price point, what'd you expect? But, it's really only flimsy where it doesn't need to be strong, it's solid where it needs to be. AS SSD shows speeds identical between drive in the bay vs. connected direct to the MB header - tested with Corsair Neutron GTX, so if there was anything wrong with the electrical bits, it would have shown up.

Cons: The dang USB ports are upside down! Latches for the drive trays are kinds finnicky, you have to work at it sometimes. I suspect that'll get better though as the SATA connectors loosen up after some use. USB cable is juuuust barely long enough to reach from the lowest bay in a full tower down to the onboard USB way at the bottom, so you can forget it (or make a new cable) if you're planning to use it in one of the upper 5.25 bays. I had to snip the ziptie and unloop the little s-bend that's used for strain relief, then try about 20 different routes for the cable to make it reach as far as possible. The persistent drive letters are initially annoying, but see 'other thoughts'...

Other Thoughts: Google 'Assign a mount point folder path to a drive'; first hit is a MS Technet article. Not mentioned there, but you have to remove the auto-assigned drive letter before the button to set a folder location is available. Just make a folder on a drive somewhere, or even the desktop if you want, name it USBCardReader or whatever. In that folder, make 4 new folders (can be anything you like: MemoryStick, SDHC, MicroSDHC, & CompactFlash). Go to Disk Management, remove drive letter, hit 'Change Drive Letter...' again, and point it to one of the new subfolders.

4 out of 5 eggsAll In One

Pros: Very much what it states its all in one. which is what I was looking for. SSD, memory card, USB all fit into 5 1/4 slot. All working with the purpose it was built for.

Cons: light weight plastic construction, Could have been better built and easier access to the SSD Drive bays.
Comes with two sata cables that have a straight and a 90 degree. Had to order new cables were both ends were straight to make the connection

Other Thoughts: Some products may or may not work with all equipment sometimes you have to be creative. very little on this product, just order two sata1,2or 3 cables when buying with straight ends. Over all not a bad product

5 out of 5 eggsSaweet!

Pros: Purchased this mainly for the card reader, I now have means to utilize the 2 hotswap bays for 2x 2tb 2.5" drives in raid 5 for my main rig so I can tear out the HDD bays for optimal airflow, sporting an mSata SSD ftw.

Cons: n/a
