VANTEC HDA-525P 3.5" to 5.25" Front Bay Converter Kit

Pros: Used this to install my 3.5" Card Media Reader/Writer in a Corsair 500r (which does not come with a slot for a Card Reader of this size). The Card Reader fits and installs securely, and the entire device fits in the case as securely as any other 5.25" drive in this case. Despite being plastic, it is sturdy enough for what it does. The plastic looks and feels exactly like that on a regular black CD Drive. No blemishes, nicks, etc. Comes with screws. Looks nice enough that you might not notice isn't original to the case.
Does exactly what I bought it for.
Reasonably priced.

Cons: If you're crazy about everything needing to be metal, this isn't for you.

Other Thoughts: For those who just want the functionality at a reasonable price, then this is a worthy product. I do recommend buying this product if you need it.

Pros: Got what i bought. Fits in my 5.25 inch drive bay.

Pros: nice looking and easy to instal.

Cons: unless you have some kind of filter for it it doesn't come with anythign to cover the rectable infront of the bay. it takes up the space needed for the mounts on my case to attach and it would just leave a huge hole on the front of the pc. the actual material feels cheap i try not to put my fingers on it hard enougn or it will break. feels like cheap plastic

Cons: Only on position to mount in . OK but not optimal in my case.
Got to be optimal for 5 eggs ppl

Other Thoughts: Had to fiddle to get holes to line up.
Would prefer option to mount forward or rear of default positon, tho the default works.

Pros: Does exactly what it's intended for and provides you with what's needed.

Cheapest and best looking 3.5 to 5.75 front bay

Other Thoughts: The black blends in well with my case and rosewill 40 in 1 card reader.

I don't like the fact that these front bay converters are so pricey. It's a piece of plastic basically which shouldn't cost that much to produce. I originally hoped to pay no more than $5.

Pros: Works rull good.

Cons: Nada.

Cons: Took a little persuasion to get a card reader to fit in it
doesn't fit flush to front of case (which doesn't look bad)

Other Thoughts: Bought this card reader - Rosewill RCR-IC001 40-in-1 USB 2.0 3.5". Had to force the screws into the drive because they wouldn't properly line up with the card reader.

Pros: Fits a 3.5" device, and a 5.25" slot, just fine and flush with the edges. Black color blends in, doesn't look cheap or anything either. Good buy, does what it's intended to do.

Cons: Can't think of any.

Pros: Does what it advertises, works to mount a 3.5" USB hub in a 5.25" Bay

Cons: Somewhat flimsy feeling plastic, arrived with a slight crack

Other Thoughts: Does whats advertised, though i do wish it were metal or a sturdier plastic. Arrived with a small crack though not worth RMA'ing

Pros: It works. I was able to fit my Rosewill card reader into a 5.25" bay using this adapter. Plastic is sturdy.

Cons: Screw hole openings didn't line up. They were too low, so the head of the screw couldn't fit. Ended up using some electrical tape to secure it.
