5 out of 5 eggsVery useful product. I bought four more today.

Pros: Offers basic protection for my dives when i don't use them.

-Stackable.

-The blue silicon grips any surface so the drives don't slide off the table, shelf or desk.

-If i would spill coffee on my desk the liquid would propabaly not reach the drive easily inside it's protector.

Cons: I wish they made the part with the slot for the drive connectors removable, so i could keep part of the protector on when i insert a SATA drive in my docking stations.
As it is i have to completely remove the protector to insert the drive in my docking stations.
Or maybe cut off the top part myself eventually.
A bit of a drag but i knew that before i bought the protectors.

Other Thoughts: I have four of those, soon i will have eight.

I keep my drives stacked one on top of the other inside the blue protector.
It is much better than having a couple of loose hard drives

Drives are expensive and the backed up data is irreplaceable.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised, but useful?

Pros: Fits on the drives pretty easily and fits well. Option to keep the drive ports covered.

Cons: Works as advertised, so not fair to really point out the things it doesn't do but didn't promise to.

Other Thoughts: I'm starting to question how useful these are going to be. I bought them to put on drives I'm using as backups while storing them, but the drives are too darn hot after removal to immediately insert, and...well, they don't protect from static, don't protect from dust, probably wouldn't make too much of a difference if dropped from more than a few inches, and you can't easily put a label on them...so why did I buy these again?

5 out of 5 eggsAs advertised

Pros: Works as advertised, easy to get the HDD in and out of. I don't plan to drop my drive but in case I do it's always nice to have a bit of protection

Cons: none so far

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: These are great. They appear to offer good protection against dropping the drive (haven't actually tested that). There's extra padding at the corners, which is where you would need it, and they stack well, too.

I haven't actually tried running the drives in one of these, though I will.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Bought the iStarUSA equivalent at the same time. These are clearly better (and cheaper).

5 out of 5 eggsHolders

Pros: Safe, soft and static free storage of spare drives.
Nice that the blocked in end prevents dust and grim getting onto the SATA/power connectors.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm kind of amazed what people are trying to do with these.

5 out of 5 eggsKingwin's best product

Pros: This is one of the best accessories for a quiet PC. A vast amount of computer noise is created from hard drive vibrations escaping to the case. I'm using one with the Famous WD Green power drives, and I definitely can't hear the hard drive when the case is closed.

Cons: Do they not come in green?

Other Thoughts: Keep away from your dog that likes to chew stuff.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap yet effective

Pros: A whole let less expensive than an external enclosure. Does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: Offers little protection, and no cooling, but that's to be expected. Only real con I can think of is that I wish they'd sell these in a 2 pack of standard size, instead of giving us a laptop drive cover.

Other Thoughts: Don't use this if you plan on taking the HDD in question around with you a lot. This is better for a drive that you just have laying around at home that you don't want to put in your case.

I got these for free with another product, but I still think it's worth a few bucks to keep using that old HDD a bit longer (case space is precious).
