3 out of 5 eggsBE CAREFUL

Pros: Fits, all the screw holes line up (Believe it or not some companies screw this up!), includes plenty of screws, very light weight...

Cons: EXTREMELY SHARP EDGES!!! The edges are so sharp, it is almost like they sharpened them. The light stamped steel makes it feel flimsy. I'm not too concerned about that since it just holds a pair of 2.5" drives.

Other Thoughts: I didn't cut myself but it would be really easy to do so on this item.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice and Sturdy

Pros: As the title said it is a very durable mounting kit. I like the look of it even though I do not see it much but it does the job that it was built to do.

Cons: Was a tad hard to install but overall installation was less than 5 minutes.

5 out of 5 eggsFits perfect.

Pros: Decent built quality.
Fits perfect

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: With the 5 dollar rebate, this bracket is a steal for less than a dollar or free ( depends on when you got it.)

3 out of 5 eggsAdequate, including for blood letting

Pros: Metal, comes with 14 screws that fit 2.5" drives

Cons: Comes with no SAE 6-32 screws that fit desktop cases, sides are too low to fit the plastic rails used by some major brand computers, like Dells.

Has razor sharp edges, some which should probably be filed down to prevent bloodletting during installation and cables from being nicked.

1 out of 5 eggsthreads non-standard

Pros: Comes with screws that hold the SSD in the bracket.

Cons: The screw holes in the outer portion of the bracket are sized wrong for hard drive mounting; normal hdd mounting screws won't work without re-tapping this bracket.

5 out of 5 eggsbasic. works.

Pros: Cheap and does it's job perfectly. Comes with screws too!

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I was worried about other reviews saying improper locations of the holes but I had no problems installing my Samsung 830 SSD into my ASUS factory PC.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy Install

Pros: It's nice when all the mounting holes match up perfectly. There are 3 holes to each side so it's a stable mount. The kit comes with fourteen screws with the stamped 2.5 inch SSD metal adapter.

Cons: Met expectations, absolutely no problems.

Other Thoughts: SSD's shouldn't have a problem with vibration, but I wonder why the case makers don't use a spray on rubberized coating for the 3.5 drives and fan mountings to cut down on noise. Just a thought.

3 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Worked fine in a 3.5" bay. You have the option to install 2 drives, but getting the SATA power connectors to both of them might require special skill or cables. Luckily, I only had to mount one drive.

Cons: Cheap metal, the bracket was actually bent when I opened the packaging. Luckily, it was soft enough that I was able to bend it back into the proper shape. Sharp edges, as you might expect, be careful, it would be easy to cut yourself on this guy.

Other Thoughts: It was free after rebate (if it comes in)...not sure if I'd recommend paying much more than that. The converter brackets that mount on the sides of a 2.5" drive seem to be a more sturdy solution.
