KINGWIN HDM-227 Internal Dual 2.5" HDD/SSD to 3.5" Metal Mounting Kit

Pros: do not buy it .

Cons: It doesn't work for my ssd . I have never seen such a stupid mounting kit before.

Pros: attaches fine to 2.5" drive

Cons: threaded holes dont line up for 3.5" slot, screws are all in the same bag. see below

Other Thoughts: i had no problem installing these mounting rails to my 2.5" hard drive, holes lined up perfect and screws worked great. there are 12 screws in the bag, 4 for 1 2.5" drive, 4 for a second 2.5" drive, and 4 that are slightly longer to install the rails into a 3.5" slot. all 12 screws are in the same bag and are hard to tell apart. when i went to install the entire thing into my computer 1 threaded hole on each side lined up fine with the holes meant to go into a 3.5" hard drive, but the other 2 holes line up with those unthreaded slots. so right now the thing is held in by 2 screws, which works ok but isnt correct. i would have gone with a different product if i had known this in advance. i realize the price on this isnt high but the product should at least be fully functional. i would suggest not buying this and go with something else

Pros: Price, HDD screws included

Cons: Mounting chassis holes are slots so the drive slides back and forth when connecting or disconnecting cables. If the HDD is in between other drives the HDD slides back making it impossible to push the connections.

Other Thoughts: Find something else.

Pros: None

Cons: The 2 1/2 in disk mounting screws just match the disk, sort of, but the are only long slots for mounting the brackets to the chassis. The disk slides back and forth when plugging in cables.

Other Thoughts: I would not reccommend these rails

Pros: Metal, cheap

Cons: The holes on the 2.5" side are fine, but the 3.5" side is not long enough to fit into the normal mounting holes that match a typical 3.5" drive. That's just plain stupid.
