ICY DOCK MB671SK-B Internal Single Bay Tray-less 3.5" SATA Hard Drive Mobile Rack

Pros: What a great piece of hardware! Very well made and polished stainless steel case to boot. This is the best thing since sliced bread for my use any way. And of course Newegg ROCKS! Ordered on Sunday and at my door on Tuesday. My Hitachi drives work great in this trayless rack.

Cons: NONE other than why didn't I find this sooner.

Other Thoughts: Great hardware. If you want to swap drives this is what you NEED.

Pros: What a great product. Works exactly as advertised and it's cost-effective to boot.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Had this guy for a few months now. I'm using it to dual-boot Linux/Windows 7/(and eventually) Snow Leopard. Everything works exactly the way it should...i couldn't be happier!

Pros: I used this to build a SFF test machine with the Foxconn R10-S4. Plugged this thing in, added a drive and off it went. Great product, esp. given the price after the mail-in rebate.

It's nice that you do not _have_ to use the key.

Does not look cheaply made, like a lot of this stuff.

Cons: Would probably bend internally if you forced it.

Other Thoughts: I'll probably buy a couple more.

Pros: Accepts all my SATA HD's without any issues and runs propertly once the Motherboard BIO's is configured properly.

Cons: None.

Pros: well if you ever wanted to test different versions of operating systems, this is the tool to have,, make a primary drive, burn the os you want to try then take out and put in another sata drive and reboot,. no partition concerns or data loss.

Cons: this really is not a con but advice,, dont be rough with it,

Pros: Very solid build, no mounting brackets needed on hard drives. I don't notice any extra noise.

Cons: Would prefer to use the SATA power connectors but I'm assuming that due to the FAN on the unit, not enough power would be available from a SATA connector.

Pros: -Nicely built.
-Drives can be inserted into the bay without any sleeves. A great feature many manufacturers neglect.
-This bay is not flashy and does not make your case into a -Christmas tree.

Cons: Maybe better cooling, but I hadn't experience any issues personally.
Takes up some space (A little more than a CD reader).

Other Thoughts: I use a couple at work, and adding some to my home PC soon. I did not realize the usefulness of the thing until I used it.
A great way to replace dual boot. Have one system on one drive, and second system on another. Thus a great thing to have if you tinker with multiple OS's as you wont be able to screw up your main Os.

Pros: Great solid construction. I purchased 3 units. I don't notice any noise from the fan. I like the fact that I don't have to screw the drive into a separate case. The drives are easily removed via opening the door which moves an arm in the back that pushes the drive out.

Cons: I just wish they were able to use sata power connections on the back. I'm sure they couldn't due to the power requirements of the fan.

Pros: Just built a new system and needed a easy way to change back and forth from XP to Vista. It's made very well and looks good. Probably going to get another.

Cons: Only "con" would be my case hard drive activity light wont work. This has the pins to hook the light up, but the case wire bundle wont reach unless I split the bundle and that would just create a wire mess. BUT this does have it's own activity light!!

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if it came with some type of hard drive storage case or sleeve. Just something cheap to protect a drive when it's out. I would be willing to pay a little extra for that instead of having to buy something seperate.
