3 out of 5 eggsWorks but kind of flimsy.

Pros: Includes everything you need and works well for the price

Cons: Easy to break the front plate without knowing it by simply trying to take it out of the package. It's placed in the package so that the front cover is at the top, and, when you put a finger in to pull out the box cover it can easily also grab the plastic and snap it in the middle as it's only about a 1/4" wide at that spot. Could easily prevent this by facing the front cover toward the back of the box.

4 out of 5 eggsWorked well for me

Pros: - Inexpensive
- One piece design
- Comes with screws

Cons: - Doesn't seem to be very rugged, but better than another one I had that broke.

Other Thoughts: I had another brand in which the front bezel was a separate part that snapped onto the tray. The first time I removed the computer case front panel, to add a fan, the case caught on the front bezel of the adapter and the snaps broke off. This design is still a cheap piece of plastic, but the front bezel and the tray is molded in a single piece. No snaps to break makes this a better design. I used it to mount a 3.5" chassis that added 2 USB 3.0 ports. Everything lined up fine. I didn't get the Bytecc at Newegg; a local place had it and I didn't want to wait.

2 out of 5 eggsI mean you can use it...

Pros: Cheap, Simple

Cons: Low quality, Problems with fitting, Not very secure, Arrived broken

Other Thoughts: I guess I would say I got what I paid for. It came to me slightly broken, but I had already changed my build around this so I had to use it. Could not screw in my HDD like I wanted because it would not line up properly. I have already ordered a replacement and will be trashing this. I'm sure it may be better for someone with a different HDD (and a not broken one dock) but it feels flimsy and I don't fell comfortable traveling with my computer with this limited protection. I would suggest spending the extra cash and get one of the better ones (Icy dock has a really good one for $10 that I will now use)

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality

Pros: Did get it installed

Cons: Sloppy dimensions. Front width as others have noted is too narrow. Front height is too wide. This bracket installed in a Rosewill Challenger (Lian LI) case with some difficulty. It was very difficult to replace the case blank that goes under it to fill the third bay. The drive above it is standard width. Also the screws that secure the 3.5 inch device in it have heads that are too small resulting in broken plastic without over tightening. Screws may come loose and fall into the case during operation.

Other Thoughts: Hardest time I've had putting a device in a 5.5 inch bay.

5 out of 5 eggsIt does what it is designed to do

Pros: My card reader fits into perfectly, it came 2 sets of 4 screws, it has 3 side and 2 bottom mounts. the back side mounts are 1 inch from the center mounts and the center mounts are 2 1/2 inchs apart.
bottom mounts are 3 inches away from each other.

Cons: simple piece of plastic, not worth 5 dollars.

Other Thoughts: buy it when it goes on sale.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Holds the card reader in place. Pretty durable plastic. I'm not going to drop kick it or anything to see if it will break though. If you want a metal one buy a metal one. The price is right.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsFit the bill for a PC retrofit

Pros: Price is right.
Great for retrofitting new parts in an old case.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Built a new HTPC and media server, decided to save fifty bucks by using an old case I had lying around. This let me add some data drives into the old tower drive slots.

5 out of 5 eggsholds up

Pros: holds up my rosewill card reader in the 5.25 drive bay nicely

Cons: none, did what its supposed to do

Other Thoughts: seems wobbly with just using the quick tool less dvd drive system, but you can easily put a couple provided screws in like i did to double check that its stable.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well once situated

Pros: This is a simple fix for a simple problem. I was adding a card reader to my desktop and used this for mounting. This product works well and matches my case which is a bonus.

Cons: I found it a bit hard to get this product situated in my case in a stable manner but that may have been due to my case. The card reader I was placing inside didn't sit perfectly flush with the front of my tower due to the way the reader sat inside of the bracket, but with some craftsmanship I made it work.

Other Thoughts: This is a good sleek looking insert that suited my needs. I was debating between plastic and metal inserts and in the end the plastic nature of this product gives your some flexibility (literally and figuratively) to make what ever device you are fitting inside it sit securely and flush with the front of the tower.

4 out of 5 eggsFills the gap... mostly

Pros: Includes screws to secure your small drive into place in the large bay. I'm not too worried about my internal media card reader slicing around thanks to these.

Decent piece of black plastic, nothing more or less, except for the con...

Cons: It's just a hair too short from side to side for my bay (Corsair 300R case), so there's a tiny gap on the left side about half a millimeter wide. A more enterprising fellow might break out the epoxy or mount it in such a way to spread the gap across both sides, but I'm not going to spend that much time on a sub-10 dollar situation.

Other Thoughts: Does the job decently, doesn't look incredible but looks way better than a drive flopping (get it?) around in that large bay.
