4 out of 5 eggsWorks pretty good

Pros: I usually have to upgrade Dells both Optiplex and XPS desktops and these work well. The XPS is a much better fit but I have been able to make these fit in an Optiplex as well. The fit isn't perfect in either but closer to perfection in the XPS. I imagine that there are better brackets from Dell but they will cost more. Also since I am always using this for mounting SSDs and not spinning hard drives I seldom have a concern over vibration and such.

Cons: Not a perfect for the PCs I often upgrade but close enough to get the job done so just one egg removed. You may need additional screws if the SSD you purchase is a bare drive. I suppose the SSD kit should have the proper screws but I get bare drives. Finding screws isn't hard if you are like me and have hundreds laying around but worth mentioning.

Other Thoughts: I have bought several of these and have been satisfied and will continue to use them until I find the perfect drive adapter for a similar price (this probably doesn't exist but is my other thoughts on this subject)

1 out of 5 eggsDon't waste your money

Pros: None

Cons: Lots of chassis holes, but none of them line up. SSD holes don't line up either. (well, one on each side does)

5 out of 5 eggsIt Does its Job!

Pros: Does what it says. I don't know how you can possibly do worse or better. Fits the Intel SSD drives fine. Works great if you want to properly mount a 2.5" HD.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: What do you expect for a $5 piece of plastic reducing 3.5" to 2.5".

3 out of 5 eggsNonstandard 3.5" holes causes incompatibility with many standard enclosures / cases

Pros: The 2.5" inner holes line up with your 2.5" HDD / SSD's (even if the outer 3.5" holes don't line up with most cases - see cons)
It was cheap [ I got several these on sale a while ago - I guess you get what you pay for ]
Does it's job if it fits where you're trying to use it (see cons)
Doesn't set your 2.5" devices on fire

Cons: The inner facing 2.5" holes fit perfectly, but it's missing the middle 3.5" hole on the outer-facing part of the bracket (it only has the two end holes instead of all three), which is the reason you bought it to begin with. It does have a hole of a different size above that position for (?) non-standard application, so it's possible to tilt it at a slight angle if your enclosure will allow it (I've seen one so far where this actually works - you probably wouldn't want to do this with an HDD).

It's also missing standard layout 3.5" holes on the bottom (it does have 4 holes, but again in wrong size and wrong location), which means you can't bottom mount the bracket.

The nonstandard middle hole mentioned above means you can't use it with any enclosure that uses standard size screws. This means that for most applications, the outer 3.5" part of the bracket won't work. There are a ton of holes on the sides, but none of them are actually useful for a standard 3.5" configuration (and reversing it doesn't work).

Other Thoughts: The directionality is awkward on this bracket. You'd think that the 2.5" devices' SATA/power adapters on your drives would be flush with the edge, but it has them facing inward which results in an overhang that makes cable management a chore when using this adapter. If it's not on sale for a very low price, I'd opt for an alternative bracket.

If they just included the standard 3.5" (6 on sides and 4 on bottom), this would be a 5-star adapter bracket.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect fit

Pros: fits perfectly in my new case and has room to easily add a second SSD when I need to without removing the first SSD

Cons: The plastic could be a little stiffer but for the money its worth it

Other Thoughts: This bracket fits perfectly in my new build. The case had a 5.25" to 3.5" adapter that this fits in perfectly and allowed me to install my new 2.5" SSD in the top mounting location. This will allow me to easily remove it in the future and slide in a second 2.5" SSD without neededing to unmount the current SSD.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Drive Bracket

Pros: - It does what it advertises
- Fit perfectly in my older HAF 932

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: - Its a plastic bracket for mounting a 2.5" HDD/SSD in a 3.5" Drive enclosure. It does what it came to do and at decent cost.

5 out of 5 eggsperfect

Pros: perfect, metal bracket not necessary!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: it's a $7 plastic bracket, what more could you ask for? It works fine. Don't spend more on a metal one.

I was able to mount two SSD on it, no problem.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: Holds two 2.5" SSD/HDD. I didn't even see that at first, so I was pleasantly surprised. Came with two bags of screws, plenty to put in both drives if needed.

Cons: So I have a screwless case (CoolerMaster 430). You would think that the holes would be just the same. Well, it didn't match up, couldn't use the screwless clips to secure this mounting kit. At first, putting the kit in the correct way so the edge of my SSD was right at the end for easy access of the cables, my front fan was in the way. So I had to flip my SSD around, now the cables connect a little further in. No, the holes still didn't match up. Luckily I had a bunch of other screws from a previous build and mounted this kit in with screws. Doesn't match the rest, but I'm just happy my SSD has somewhere to sit.

Other Thoughts: I probably could drill the holes out just a fraction of an inch, and it might work with the screwless design of my case. Too lazy.
