2 out of 5 eggsWould consider death instead of using again.

Pros: - Roughly the correct size and shape
- Cheap(ish?)
- Comes with screws

Cons: - Doesn't have all the right holes
- Holes aren't threaded
- Thicker than the 3.5" drive I replaced. Couldn't fit case together without modification.
- Really hard to work with
- Surprisingly confusing for being a piece of plastic.

Other Thoughts: I thought, hey, I shouldn't have to pay $10 for a bracket. It's just a hunk of plastic (or metal). Should be practically free, so I'll get one that's cheap and get on with my life. It was not worth the hassle. I would pay at least double, and consider triple, the cost of this bracket before using another one.

3 out of 5 eggsget what you pay for

Pros: if you are using an existing case that doesn't have the 2.5" bays, this is a quick fix for mounting your new ssd drive.

Cons: cheap. They are made of plastic. not too sure about loading two ssd drives on it. Bottom drive mounts to bottom of bracket, while top drive is supposed to mount through side of bracket. I am more worried about vibration affecting the ssd drive because of the plastic. I would definitely spring the couple extra bucks for the metal one on my next purchase.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, gets the job done

Cons: Drive doesn't align with the end of the trey. Couldn't power the drive while it was in the bottom slot. Sata power on the psu is set at a 90deg angle. Everything would have worked fine if the drive aligned with the other end of the trey.

Other Thoughts: Plastic. Bottom drive secures via bottom screws. Top drive secures by side screws. Screws come with it.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: It does the job. SSD mounted easily in to the enclosure easily. It's not exactly a complicated device, but it does the job.

Cons: I took off an egg for two reasons:

1) I would have preferred an aluminum or steel enclosure to the plastic.

2) The holes on the bottom where the pins from the 3.5" enclosure are supposed to pop in to were just slightly too far in so mine does not fully mount in to the screwless enclosure as one side pops up slightly since it rests on the 2 pins.

3 out of 5 eggsFair

Pros: Works, if you modify some.

Cons: Cheap plastic, retains heat, not helping cooling of the hard drive.

Other Thoughts: Get the metal one.

5 out of 5 eggsPlastic mounting bracket

Pros: Cheap. Less than those $10-$12 ones and does the same job. For those complaining about it being plastic, just don't abuse the thing and you will be ok. Not everything needs to be metal...

Cons: None if you are just careful.

Other Thoughts: Comes with all screws needed to mount the drive to the adapter and the adapter to the computer chassis

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive (not cheap)
While it is plastic, it is not flimsy.
Fits 2 SSDs in one bay.
Does exactly what it says.

Cons: It is a little bit tough to get screws into the plastic holes, as it is not threaded. Not a big deal, just a little annoying.

Other Thoughts: Worth it.
