Introducing the Icy Dock MB990SP-B Dual 2.5” to 3.5” SATA and IDE Solid State and Hard Disk Drive Converter. This dual bay drive bracket allows you to use two SATA or IDE SSD and HDD in an internal 3.5” drive bay in most standard cases. Since most cases are not set up to use 2.5” form factor, the MB990SP-B allows you to make a huge upgrade to your system with very little effort.

Fit Most Types of Cases Out of the box it can be used in both tool-less and standard cases. The EZ Fit pins on the sides of the bracket fit into most standard mounting holes, and are also removable to use either your case’s proprietary mounting brackets, or to use screws for a more secure fit.
Easy Installation Simply insert the drive or drives into the front loading slots, close the latch, and it is now ready to be installed in the case. Then compress the two tabs at the rear, and place in the drive bay. When the tabs are released, the included pins will pop into place into your case’s mounting holes, and installation is complete.
Superior Heat Dissipation and Vibration Resistance The lightweight EZ FIT bracket is has an open air design for maximum air flow and cooling of the drives, and the anti-vibrant kit dampens the vibration caused by motor spinning or case shaking.

Mounting system is not secure -- I wouldn't suggest shipping a machine with this installed. Airflow between the drives is limited by the front locking clasp, you cannot install it backwards in a typical 3.5" bay due to the length of the handles. It will also interfere with any full length graphics cards. Other Thoughts: If I could secure the drives and the enclosure with a screw this thing would be better. N/A 2/18/2013 9:36:18 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Works Good, Could Be Better Though Pros: Holds 2 SSD drives nicely. Bolts up to any normal 3.5" HD cage or mount. Cons: The SSD drives I used (2 Samsung 840 Pro's) were thin enough that they rattled around in the adapter. I resolved this by taking the bubble wrap that the adapter came in and folding it over a couple of times, then sliding the SSD's into the dock with the bubble wrap underneath them. Thankfully since SSD's don't really generate any heat, this should take care of the rattle permanently. However, some sort of tensioner to keep the SSD's from rattling would be a good change to make on this item. 2 out of 6 people found this review helpful. Did you? ryk1998 2/10/2013 12:37:52 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5icy dock caddy Pros: build quality, ability to modify by removing screws and pins Cons: plastic feels a little flimsy Other Thoughts: fit depends on your case...I installed in a dell inspiron 660 mini tower that comes with metal hard drive brackets that fit onto drive...the brackets fit the caddy as well for a proper fit....only issue is drive sits low in "well" where drives are located so you must adjust sata and power cables...unless I am doing something wrong 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful.
