2 out of 5 eggsPrepare to spend an hour on modification!

Pros: Plastic isn't a good conductor for electricity.
Built to hold 2 drives.
Worked after a lot of modification.

Cons: Flimsy plastic.
Had to make major modifications to fit in my Cooler Master ,Haf 932, computer case.
A builders nightmare.

Other Thoughts: As a builder, who wants to take an hour of time to modify a SDD/ HDD holder? There were all kinds of problems fitting it my full tower case. I had to use a file to sand down a lot of parts and was having to inhale the tiny, plastic particles. I count on these parts to be ready-to-use! Working with expensive, sensitive electronics to get the computer running, it was a nightmare!
Finally, after grooling modifications my HDD would fit in the bracket. Then comes putting it in the computer case. The plastic screws prevent it from fitting correctly. It was so frustrating!!, it's likely to damage the HDD or SDD because of so much modifying. Just a waste of time. Good idea but way too complicated for such a simple item!

4 out of 5 eggsIt works, but not optimally

Pros: It fits two SSDs into a single 3.5 slot.

Cons: Whoever designed this wasn't thinking straight. The SSDs are mounted 180 degrees from each other. You'd think that wouldn't be a problem, just flip the drive over, but since the screw holes are closer to one edge than the other, the little pegs that hold the SSD in place don't line up if you flip one of the drives to match the other. If you take a dremel and file off the plastic ledge that forces you to mount it one way, then the drive fits fine, and is still shallow enough to fit in a 3.5" bay. Second complaint is the useless "handle". Dremel that off also, and reclaim some internal space. Finally, the plastic nubs that hold it in. These I actually didn't have a problem with. Mine fit nice and tight. If I had to constantly remove and reseat the drive, maybe they'd get loose over time, but the initial click-in was satisfactory

Other Thoughts: With some pre-work, can make this decent. Would be better if BYTECC released a proper bracket with both SSDs facing the same direction, and no useless extruding handles.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and sturdy

Pros: Nice simplistic design and very easy to use and holds 2 SSD drives. This holds the drives in very sturdy and is an simple install. The price is very nice performs exactly as described. If you have large old man hands like me then you may find that the 3 prong grasping tool in most computer tool kits will be of a help to hold the included pins. I installed this into an Emermax tooless case and the clips lined up perfectly

Cons: No cons here, great product. Great Value

Other Thoughts: I found this to be perfect however ones needs to plan their build out. I had previously performed the task of cable management and had not left enough length accessible for an easy install, my fault. Even with rerouting a couple wires and reconfiguring my tie downs the install only took about 4 minutes.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what we need!

Pros: We use these brackets to put SSDs into PCs that require the screws on the side of the HDDs to slide into the slot and they work great!

Cons: I haven't found any cons yet.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this bracket to anyone who is mounting 1 or 2 SSDs into a desktop

1 out of 5 eggsToo tall -- who designed this!?

Pros: Simple, easy to install, inexpensive

Cons: This bracket is too tall! It juts out about a quarter inch on the top of my Shuttle XPC (hard drives are mounted on the very top of the case). The case cover does not line up properly. Handle seems like a nice idea but just gets in the way of plugging in the power and data cables. Screw holes for the plastic pins did not line up with my 3.5 inch mounting bracket.
