BYTECC Bracket-252B 2.5" Dual HDD/SSD Screwless Bracket For 3.5" Drive Bay - Blue

Pros: Snug, secure fit on 2.5" drives (tested Samsung 830 and WD Scorpion Blue).

Cons: Can't be used with cases that use 3.5" HDD trays that mount drives with the bottom holes (like the Antec Sonata); the adapter is injection moulded and hasn't been designed with plastic or mounting holes where such screws would go.

Other Thoughts: This is fine for cases that use the side mounting screws, just not cases like the Sonata (which uses rubber grommets to damp vibration of mechanical drives, and thus uses the bottom screw holes and custom screws).

Pros: cheap and work as described cant be happier

Cons: none

Pros: Cheap, holds 2 drives, flexible. Bright blue.

Cons: May not have the strictest tolerances. Doesn't give good backrubs or wash your car or light up or anything. Bright blue.

Other Thoughts: Used it for a client to put an SSD in a Late 2009 iMac, which has a unique 3.5" drive bracket setup - mounting rail holes didn't line up super-precise, had to bend and flex a bit to get it to fit. Drive bay uses screw in mounting post thingies, but the plastic took it well enough.

Pros: The bracket is really simple and easy to operate. For the price and application, the quality is exactly what it needs to be. The installation was quick and easy, which is always a plus.

Cons: The bracket recesses the drive quite a bit, so with other 3.5" drives around the bracket, managing the wiring was borderline impossible

Other Thoughts: I have a tool less kit, so I didn't use the provided pins. They looked like they would work, but I didn't try them. The bracket was compatible with the "rails" that attach to the side of my drives for my case (RaidMAX Smilodon).

Pros: 1.Did the job as stated (after a bit of fiddling with it)
2.Newegg service, and speedy processing is 2nd to none!

Cons: Cheap moulded plastic product but hey, you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: would have given 5 eggs had it not taken so long to get it to fit in my drive bay properly. IMHO if a product is what is stated, and works like it should, it deserves 5 eggs even if its cheap swag. haha

Pros: Works great. It has a handle and some plastic screws making it toolless.

Cons: None really.

Pros: 1 SSD fit ok. didn't try 2.

Cons: Does not fit my NZXT Phantom case very good. The drive tray/brackets for the case that clip onto the drive do not line up with this adapter. The adapter plastic is too thick. Made it work with a zip-tie.

Other Thoughts: works fine, just not in my case.

Pros: This installed fairly easily. I was also surprised about how sturdy it felt, the picture makes it appear quite fragile. Fits both my SSD and an old laptop drive I have for extra storage quite nicely. The blue also matches the color scheme in my case quite nicely.

Cons: The handle was a little annoying when using this for 2 drives and having to route all 4 cables around it. I have considered cutting off the handle, but I don't currently have access to a dremel. The holes matched up closely, but not perfectly with my Cooler Master 430 case. I didn't even use the plastic "screws" as the quick-release clips that came with the case just needed a little 'persuasion'.

Other Thoughts: It took a moment to figure out which holes to use and another minute to 'persuade' the clip to go on, but all in all it is a solid product that does exactly what it should.

Cons: Plastic mounting clips feel a little cheap, but they work
