5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Black textured finish metal, comes with mounting screws for ssd & case. All the mounting holes lined up just fine with the ssd and the case's hd drive bay (an older Antec 1080) However...

Cons: The bracket will not work in the Coolermaster Cosmos case which has pull-out HD trays which only allows the use of the HD's bottom mounts.

Other Thoughts: Since the mistake was mine, I'm not going to penalize the product a star.

5 out of 5 eggsGood and at Expectations

Pros: This Powder Coated Bracket to convert a 3.5" HDD drive bay to a 2.5" compatible SSD bracket works extremely well. It mounts an SSD on the top by using the mounting holes on the bottom of the SSD and then uses supplied screws to mount the sides of the bracket to a tower's built in 3.5" drives.

Paint is a nice texture and seems durable, as well as the metal construction.
Paint did not chip.

Works just like it should - a piece of metal with holes.

Cons: Nothing.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: It does what it is supposed to do, but did not work for my application. See other thoughts.

Cons: The SSD mounting holes are slightly off centered. I got the screws in, but it was a very tight squeeze to get the holes to line up. Not worth to minus any eggs though being as cheap as it is.

Other Thoughts: This did not work in my All-In-One PC, the HP Touchsmart 600-1120 because the sata/power cable inside the AIO is not long enough to reach the centered mounting point. I guess I will just install it in my wife's computer that has a SSD resting against the inside of the case.. so it's not a total loss.

If you need a mount for your All In One, look for one with a mount that's offset so that you can flip it around if you need to.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes NOT Fit in case

Pros: It did come with screws for mounting to case and to SSD and it is sturdy metal with a nice black finish. BUT...

Cons: 1) The side mounting holes for the PC case are too small (M3)
2) The side mounting holes are 5mm from where they should be for a standard case location. In my case, 5mm too high in the bracket. No, flipping the bracket upside down does not solve anything.

Other Thoughts: If the 3.5" drive location in your case has no lip or lower restriction so that you can move it five mm down, then this might work for you.
If you're not 100% certain, do not buy it.

1 out of 5 eggsNon-standard hole placement and size

Pros: Made of decent quality metal with a nice coating.

Cons: Non-standard hole placement for mounting in a 3.5 slot and non-standard hole size. You need to use the really, really short screws for mounting in a 3.5 slot. If your case isn't some flimsy metal you won't be able to mount it because you have to use the tiny short screws that are included which are about half the diameter of standard mounting screws. Doesn't fit in a Antec Nine Hundred, Antec Twelve Hundred, Antec Nineteen Hundred, a Corsair case, a NZXT case and a Thermaltake case. For the heck of it I tried mounting it in a Dell desktop and it wouldn't work either because the quick change sleeves won't latch onto the sides of the bracket because the bracket hole(as stated above) are to small.

Other Thoughts: Gave it 1 egg because of the holes.

5 out of 5 eggsBuilt solid.

Pros: Great bracket for SSD's. Made from quality material. I purchased this bracket but didn't need it because the Rosewill Thor v2 computer case I bought is already equipped with more than enough of these brackets.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: It's sturdy. The holes line up fine. The 2.5" drive mounts using the screw holes on the bottom. Inexpensive.

Cons: One thing to watch out for is the holes for mounting in a 3.5" bay do not take "hard drive" screws. If you need a regular 4-40 screw for e.g. mounting rubber standoffs that came with your case, they won't fit in it. I sheared one of screws in half trying to fit it in, then had to drill it out so I could put a screw in. I just drilled out (enlarged) the four outer holes and used super-glue to keep the screws & rubber mounts in. SSDs are light so it works okay enough. Would have preferred to avoid the labor, though.

3 out of 5 eggsdoesn't mount in all cases

Pros: Mounts a 2.5" drive properly

Cons: I have a somewhat specialized medium tower case where it has rubber spacers to mount 3.5" drives so vibrations get absorbed. This mount won't work for my case.

It should work for most other cases.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: it holds 2, 2.5" hard drives and doesn't break when you look at it.

Cons: Feels kind of cheap, but I knew that when I bought it.

Other Thoughts: Not too bad, and got the job done. I wish it could be simpler.
