4 out of 5 eggsSimple and effective

Pros: As the title says, it gets the job done.

Cons: Screws are difference from usual HDD mounting screws, but I don't honestly care. It comes with the screws to use.

The last few that I've ordered have been a little bent, like someone pounded the end of a pencil into the edge of the bracket. It doesn't take much effort to bend it back, but y'know. That's not the bracket's fault, it's the handler's fault.

Other Thoughts: Have bought around 20 of these and I'll continue to buy them. They're perfect and cheap

4 out of 5 eggsalmost perfect

Pros: I like the simple, well-painted look and structure as well as the thin overall profile. It looks simple yet more expensive than plastic trays. It also looks a lot more like a piece of the case frame than a separate aftermarket piece. Cooling is no problem with this tray but the hottest SSD I've ever seen is around 4 watts so it's not a big deal.

Cons: This tray offers absolutely no shock/vibration absorption of any kind. Theoretically SSDs aren't affected by that but you never know what years of constant vibration may do to yours. You might want to stick with plastic tray adapters for builds with high velocity, large, heavy fans all over the case or PCs that will reside near a powerful sound system. You could always use rubber washers on the outside mounting screws though.

Other Thoughts: There are faster trays out there for not much more. They use spring loaded clasps and no screws so installation takes 2 seconds instead of 30 seconds with a magnetic screwdriver and 4 screws.

5 out of 5 eggsBracket for SSD

Pros: The pros are it will fit into a 5/25 bay inside your computer case and will allow you to add speed to your computer by upgrading to a SSD drive... This also will allow you mount the SSD drive much easier then just trying with out i This also comes with its own mounting screws.....

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you would like a faaster computer make should you have a high ICO read / write... You can get alot more speed if you do upgrade. Now and days this is one of the best ways to boost your PC..

1 out of 5 eggsNot long enough

Pros: The drive bolton onto it fine.

Cons: Too short to line up 4 screw holes. Was only able to mount it with 2 screws.

Seriously. It's a bracket. It's not hard to get right. One egg for you!

3 out of 5 eggsGood but not as described

Pros: Simple and solid. Comes with mounting screws for the HDD and the tray.

Cons: The product description says that this tray mount in a hard drive bay. That is incorrect. It has the screw placement and pitch to mount in a floppy drive bay.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to mount my SSD in a hard drive bay, but it's not like anyone has a floppy drive these days, so I mounted it there.

I suspect half of the reviewers have never built a computer with a floppy drive, so their confusion at the funny screw hole placement is understandable. :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat and cheap

Pros: Cheap and goes on sale almost every week

Cons: not standard screws for use in HDD cages

Other Thoughts: The screw thing is honestly a very minute detail. Unless you separate the screws from the packaging and lose them it's not really an issue. A++ I use this in every build that I do for my company.
