5 out of 5 eggsUpside Down!!

Pros: Flip these over!!!! Make edges face down so the flat surface is on top. Attach SSD to flat surface and then install tray easily without damaging SSD!!! That's whgat I do and have no problems at all.

Cons: Directions - wrong - see above!!

Other Thoughts: Ought to come with all SSDs. Great trays.

3 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: They do the job they are intended for.

Cons: The screw holes to mount them into the case are small, like a cd-rom drive, not like normal hard drive size screw holes. This is an issue with my case as it uses anti-vibration rubber mounts and the screw heads are large so the do not pull through the rubber, the case screws are also depth set.

Other Thoughts: They should make these to mount with normal hard drive size screws.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple. Functional.

Pros: It secures a 2.5" drive to a 3.5" drive bay.

Cons: Doesn't come with instructions (for all you dummies ;-)

Other Thoughts: There are three screw holes on each side, threaded for standard hard drive screws. The middle screw hole allows the user to choose the optimal placement in the 3.5" drive bay or applicable hard drive caddy.

You can flip and rotate this adapter until you've found the proper alignment for your configuration.

Its simple and easy to do, just keep your brain turned on so you don't end up leaving a negative review.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple and easy to install

Pros: Easy to install and use. Just align your 2.5" SSD/HDD onto the bracket and screw it in with the appropriate screws that came with the package.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the price of a cheap, quick, and simple bracket to mount your 2.5" SSD/HDD.

3 out of 5 eggsThey only needed to drill 4 holes

Pros: Not badly priced. Simple.

Cons: The mounting holes do not align with a Samsung 850 EVO. If the SSD is placed over a set of front to back holes, no other set aligns properly with the SSD holes.

Somehow I feel Samsung probably has the holes in the right place. All Bytecc had to do was drill 2 more holes to match the first two and in a standard pattern. I am grateful they are probably not involved in the space program.

Other Thoughts: I need it now, so I am going to drill out the mounting holes. This is likely to make the SSD slightly crooked in the tray. From one side to another.

1 out of 5 eggsThis thing sucks

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Only one screw hole would be aligned at a time, waste of money. Should have read the reviews. It is just sitting on top of the tabs and sitting there. Will be buying a new one from a different manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: Hope it works on your case if you're buying it.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: This bracket is not much different then the bracket shipped by OEM's. The actual metal is decent.

Cons: Come on guys, how do you mess up a bracket?!?! One screw hole was off. I was able to wedge it in but REALLY?!

Other Thoughts: I read the reviews here but I bought one anyway.
