3 out of 5 eggsThey only needed to drill 4 holes

Pros: Not badly priced. Simple.

Cons: The mounting holes do not align with a Samsung 850 EVO. If the SSD is placed over a set of front to back holes, no other set aligns properly with the SSD holes.

Somehow I feel Samsung probably has the holes in the right place. All Bytecc had to do was drill 2 more holes to match the first two and in a standard pattern. I am grateful they are probably not involved in the space program.

Other Thoughts: I need it now, so I am going to drill out the mounting holes. This is likely to make the SSD slightly crooked in the tray. From one side to another.

1 out of 5 eggsThis thing sucks

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: Only one screw hole would be aligned at a time, waste of money. Should have read the reviews. It is just sitting on top of the tabs and sitting there. Will be buying a new one from a different manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: Hope it works on your case if you're buying it.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: This bracket is not much different then the bracket shipped by OEM's. The actual metal is decent.

Cons: Come on guys, how do you mess up a bracket?!?! One screw hole was off. I was able to wedge it in but REALLY?!

Other Thoughts: I read the reviews here but I bought one anyway.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best thing

Pros: CHEAP. Works. I didn't strip any of the included screws.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Snapped a Crucial MX100 SSD into an AZZA Solano 1000 case lickety split. It bowed a little on the bottom, towards the SSD once it was all secured in, but that SSD isn't going to be moving anytime soon.

4 out of 5 eggsBe careful

Pros: Cheap. It also mounts the SSD off to the side, which works well in tight spaces for cabling since I have another SSD above it.

Cons: Be careful when mounting. Since the SSD is mounted off center, the mounting screws come dangerously close to touching the SSD body on one side. Use shorter screws if you have any on hand.

Other Thoughts: It would be nicer if it had multiple holes for right, left, or center mounting (Big plus for cabling). The off center mounting holes should not be so close to the edge.

5 out of 5 eggsMake sure it'll fit

Pros: Seems to be of good quality, includes screws, and the holes on the bracket all lined up nicely with the bottom of my Samsung SSD.

Cons: Would not work in my case for two reasons:
- The bracket is shorter than a regular 3.5" drive and so only has 2 of the 3 mounting holes on the sides, only one end would line up with the holes in my hard drive cage.

- The bracket uses the smaller M3 type screws to fasten it to the case rather than the 6-32 screws typically used for hard drives. Not a problem for cases that mount straight to metal but if you have one that uses something like anti-vibration grommets and long screws like the Antec, then the included screws will not work.

Other Thoughts: Do your research like I didn't and make sure it'll fit in your case! lol

5 out of 5 eggsJust what I needed

Pros: This bracket is exactly what I could use at the time of need. It's almost like when you scrape your knee as a young child and its literally the first time you see your own blood; then your mother comes along and reassures you everything will be OK.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I think it was generic bandages though, not the formal Band-Aid brand.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked as expected...

Pros: The bracket did it's job. I used it to put a Samsung SSD into my somewhat older HAF case which had the slide-out HDD slots. After plugging in the drive and running the cables through the case, the bracket fit right inside the tray just like a standard 3.5 HDD would.

Cons: No Cons here.

Other Thoughts: I wish all items ordered online were this easy and straight forward.

3 out of 5 eggsA Little Short

Pros: Easily installed.

Cons: Bracket is too short to fit attach points at both ends in an Antec 302 case.
