Pros: Very sturdy and heavy for such a small device. Worked flawlessly for my use -- RAID6 with 8 Intel SSDs. Good placement of the SATA power connectors. It doesn't interfere with anything and is vertical.
Cons: With those 2 40mm fans there is no way you can put in 8 2.5" HDDs. It would overheat in like 10 minutes of use.
Other Thoughts: Great product for its purpose -- installing SSDs. Very useful for turning spare 5.25" slots into SSDs.
I wish they would support SAS SSDs even single port would be okay.
I really wish manufacturers would make these with the SFF-8087 connectors since I doubt these are made for casual desktop users. Who else is going to use 8 SSDs? Even Supermicro/IstarUSA don't make them that way.

Pros: Storage density is great for a single bay. Especially when used with a mini-ITX chassis. Metal construction. Feels sturdy.
Cons: Poorly thought out SATA power connectors. Quite a few power supplies on the market use the daisy-chain style SATA power connectors. This is only (easily) compatible with the straight style. The problem with a daisy chained connector is the extra width required since the cord enters and exits the SATA connector at an angle. Adding insult to injury, after plugging in the first connector, you have to twist the cable 180 degrees, and flip the connector another 180 degrees since they did not position the keyed edge in the same direction for both SATA power connectors. Also, the fans block the full-seating of this style. Just something to beware of on an otherwise great product. If you have the daisy-chain style SATA power connectors from your PSU, you may want simple extensions or adapters to avoid the acrobatics.

Pros: This is a strong, high quality, and appears to be durable drive rack system. I have used a few others and this is, by far, the best I've seen. It saved me several hundred dollars and tons of space by not having to buy a separate external drive array.
Cons: I think the cost is a bit high for what you get, and I'm concerned about the longevity potential of the fans. Fortunately, they are standard 20mm fans and can be easily replaced.
