Cons: it is only empty space for 3.5 HDD. no connection.

Pros: It does indeed have two 2.5" drive slots

Cons: The 3.5" device slot isn't a hot-swap bay. It's literally a empty hole where you can hard-mount a hard drive. This makes it useless for our purposes (bulk diagnostic of large numbers of SAS drives)

Other Thoughts: We've purchased from Icy Dock before (which is why we bought these) and the product description is slightly misleading. There isn't a 3.5" hot swap bay. There's literally an empty hole where you can permanently mount a 3.5" drive and wire it yourself. This makes it useless for our purposes (testing very large numbers of 3.5" SAS drives where we plug in, run a couple of tests, then yank and go on to the next drive).

Pros: The concept of being able to hot swap 2.5 drives is awesome

I was able to install a usb 3.0 hub in the 3,5 drive space, thats pretty cooll, gave me extra usb ports.

Cons: I have laptop hard drives and they do not fit. They are 2.5 drives. They fit in the included trays, but the trays don't slide in.

This is only compatible with SKINNY solid state drives. If you have spindle 2.5 drives, forget it.

Other Thoughts: I felt I was mislead as the specifications specifically state 2.5 hard drives. They do not fit. ONLY SSD's work with it.

Pros: - Perfect to have a new OS SSD and regulare 3.5 programs drive at the same location.
- Blue Led for SSD activity monitoring
- Quick release for 2 SSD drives

Cons: - No fan
- Screws set seems a bit mixed up. Not enough for 2 SSD.

Other Thoughts: Good buy, perfect to fit a small 2.5'' SSD on an empty 5.25'' slow. I own 3 of them in different computers.

Be aware that there is no ventilation with this so, it might be a problem if your case is not well ventilated. I manage to put a 80mm fan, free standing in place of the 3.5'' drive slot.

Pros: Excellent at keeping space (and thus air flow) within your rig.
Only requires one power cable for both the hot swap SSDs rather than one for each (SSHD/HDD still needs its own power cable).
Two blue LEDs indicate power received to SSDs, one for each.

Cons: No actual instructions or manual, but everything is pretty straight forward.

Other Thoughts: I have my ICYDOCK one bay underneath my bluray driver with a difference in depth of about 1 inch, leaving me to either remove one of the bays or use tweezers/another like tool to adjust cables. This is just personal choice, nothing worth removing an EGG for. Also, I have my two SSDs running RAID0, so it's really great on overall space saving I believe.

Pros: It can mount two 2.5 drives, and one 3.5 drive. the 2.5 are hot swappable trays. i really like how many drives it was able to fit into a 5.25 drive bay. Nice metal construction. overall very satisfied
