1 out of 5 eggsSpaced too close

Pros: Insufficient space left between drives, cannot use a duplex power cord making cable management messy. There is plenty of room design it right. I doubt worth sending back so likely heading to the trash

Cons: Can't power both drives next to each other from the same cable (duplex plugs) have to run separately as insufficient spacing is provided between the drives.

4 out of 5 eggsGets job done

Pros: Plastic and light. Probably helps reduce vibrations from other drives. Adequately secured SSD into 3.5" mounting slot.

Cons: Mounting didn't line up very well for my use. Overall it worked, but I wasn't happy about it.

Other Thoughts: Bought two of these for separate machines. Both hold SSD's in an ATX and a mATX case.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes a great job.

Pros: This mounting kit allows you to maximize your case's space by offering two slots in one. I happened to have a spare laptop drive laying around in addition to my new SSD, and now I have a drive and its back-up all in one slot!

Cons: See other thoughts

Other Thoughts: I notice there's a few reviews that complain about not being able to screw the kit to their hard drive bays. I initially had this problem, but I figured out all you need to do is put a little extra pressure when putting in your respective case's screws. The exterior holes on the kit are not threaded, so you just need to "create" the threading with your case's screws.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

Pros: This mounting kit makes a 2.5" drive the size of a 3.5" drive for mounting in a PC case. I put together a computer using new parts in an old case (Cooler Master Centurion 534) that utilizes tool-less 3.5" bays with slide-in rails on both sides of the drive. I wanted to use an SSD, so I needed a kit like this to imitate the size of a traditional 3.5" drive.
This kit does the job perfectly for use with an SSD.

Cons: I would hesistate to recommend this for anyone wishing to mount a 2.5" hard disk (as opposed to solid state), because the airflow may not be sufficient to cool the drive. Probably not an issue if the PC case mounts drives head-on, perpendicular to a case fan. However, my Centurion case (and many others) mounts drives such that the fan blows on the side, not the front, of the drive.
Since this mount has the physical dimensions of a 3.5" drive on the long sides, the 2.5" drive within has "walls" on the long sides that block airflow. The front and back of the mount are open, however, so fans blowing on the front are OK.

Other Thoughts: SSDs do not require much, if any, airflow to keep them in a good temp range, so I'm not worried about mounting an SSD with this kit in any case.
Hard disks, on the other hand, may require airflow. Just make sure to know what you need before buying a mounting kit.
My CM Centurion case on Newegg is item # N82E16811119106.

2 out of 5 eggsDoes its job, barely

Pros: It fits in the bay, and holds 2 SSDs as it describes. It is very convenient.

Cons: I must have some sort of non standard case or something, but the holes on this mounting kit do not line up to the holes my case has for HDDs. I use a Thermaltake case and I have never had a problem fitting a HDD before so it's hard for me to imagine my case is the problem, but I suppose it's possible. It is very confusing to me how this product has 5 eggs with 250+ reviews with such a glaring issue.

Other Thoughts: It still works (kinda) as I can get one of the holes to line up with my case and somewhat hold it in place. That's the only reason I haven't bothered with sending it back.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple & effective

Pros: An inexpensive mounting solution for mounting 2.5" hard drives. The kit allows for one drive to secured in from the bottom up, the second to be secured in from the sides on top of the first. The whole thing fits into a standard 3.5" bay.

If you don't like plastic, don't buy this - though I don't see any problem with it though.
