Rosewill RX-C202 3.5" SATA Trayless Hot Swap Mobile Rack for Dual 2.5" SATA SSD / HDD

Pros: Works without problem.

Seems sturdy.

Less clutter than external drive holder.

Using for an Ubuntu SSD on primary computer - just a few seconds in UEFI to switch drives.

Will use henceforth to clone primary Windows 7 SSD to another SSD.

Cons: Nuisance to connect activity light; so far, I am doing without.

More stuff in computer case means more wires.

Neither Con is major.

Other Thoughts: Have not yet benchmarked drive in this device. SSD feels very fast with Ubuntu.

SSD stays cool in top bay without fan. Have not used lower bay.

I'm a temperature nut. The top bay probably runs cooler than a mechanical drive in a laptop.

NASA rule of thumb: electronics lifetime decreases with the FOURTH POWER of (absolute) temperature.

Jack's rule of thumb: if it's too hot to touch for ten seconds, it's waaay too hot.

Pros: Doesnt feel cheap and works just as it needs to.

Cons: the blue leds on the front are a little bright.

Other Thoughts: I didnt think I would use this but after picking it up I knew I had to. Its very solid I use to hold my to ssds in raid 0 to hold my windows os. Just need to keep my case from my lil brother so he doesnt make one pop out. for 20 bucks this is well worth it if you plan on hot swapping some laptop drives or ssds. or do as did and use it for the looks.

Pros: moves my 2.5 inch drives to within easy reach besides providing a perfect mount for them. hot swapping is just a bonus.

Cons: with nothing in the 2.5 inch slot the door spring doesn't open very far you kind of have to move the latch and release faster than expected

Other Thoughts: overall it's a fantastic addition to my desktops and gives me a bonus second drive via the front panel

Pros: This is a well built great product. It is perfect for swappable disks and works fine with my old SSD's. I like the feel of the mechanism -- solid.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Only way you could dislike it is to get one that was defective. This dog will hunt.

Pros: This thing's perfect. I use it to transfer files with and/or diagnose laptop HDD's. The hot swap action is smooth and is a great use for empty 3.5" slots.

Cons: The connection speed is decent at best. I wouldn't use it as primary drive housing. Stick to hot swapping.

Pros: My last review is for the Arctic Accelero Hybrid!

Pros: This carrier works well, even with a thick SSD. Easy install and removal of the drive easily makes it worth the price

Cons: I see no problems at this point

Pros: Brought down my temps from 70+ down to 40+ degrees playing Farcry 3, NICE!

Cons: Couldn't utilize thermal adhesive cause it was dry already.

Other Thoughts: Had to order another thermal adhesive. But other than that, the Hybrid works great!

Pros: Loved the first one I bought so much im buying another one!
