4 out of 5 eggsWorks well.

Pros: Flexible mounting options, excellent choice for relocating multiple drives out of the 3.5" slots.

Cons: None really. It isn't perfect, but caters to quite a bit of different mounting schemes. No problem here with the included hardware or getting screws installed.

Other Thoughts: Depending on your case design, you can mount the bracket upside down, which solves the problem of the cable/orientation mismatch of the SSD and HDD (both are right-side-up), at the expense of obstructing an extra bay.

4 out of 5 eggsLet down by cheap screws

Pros: These are nice chunky all-metal adapters. The front textured metal face-plate is secured by screws so you can easily remove it for fitment, since it protrudes beyond the sides slightly. It's also great to have the option of using it for both 2.5" and 3.5" drives. I'm using a pair of these in the optical bays of a Mac Pro and they work great.

Cons: The screws. Really. These come with the cheapest screws I've ever come across for anything. They take the form of a screw, they will fit on the end of a screwdriver, they are even a bit shiny like a screw. But just using my finger-tip and thumb-tip on the screwdriver to tighten them and they strip out. It also seems like an oversight to not have a rubber grommet system for vibration dampening when the rest is so nice.

Other Thoughts: Like others have mentioned applying the screws for a 3.5" drive is a bit tricky. I found it pretty easy to do once I dipped the tip of my screwdriver into some rubber cement to hold the screw on, then navigate Operation-like into the adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsFits nicely in a Corsair 600t.

Pros: Perfect for 2 SSD's & a single 3.5 inch. It goes into the front side of the case with the open side facing down. You can push it all the way back into the 5.25 drive bay & replace any mesh grill on the front of the case.

It's metal. All the other ones are cheap plastic. Best 5.25 inch adapter on NewEgg at the moment & it fits 3 drives!

My build: Corsair 600t, 128GB Crucial M4, ASRock Extreme 6, 16GB of Corsair Vengance & an i7 3770k.

Cons: None!

5 out of 5 eggsIt Worked!

Pros: I got this bay converter because my case lacked a 3.5" bay to put my Intel 3.5" bay usb 3.0 panel that came with my motherboard and this did the trick! The other great thing is that if I decide to do another build I can always use this to mount 2 extra SSD's in a 5.25" bay if need be.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: It just works and is constructed great! I mean it's metal which is obviously better than the fall apart plastic options out there so I know I can use this into the future with other builds.

4 out of 5 eggsPleasant Surprise

Pros: All metal, very sturdy.

Didn't see anything about the 2x 2.5" mounts where I bought it, so I was very surprised when I found out. Not only does it hold 2 SSD's, it can still hold them with a 3.5" drive installed.

Cons: 2.5" drives are mounted upside down. It would have been simple enough to switch the orientation to put the drives on the bottom and the 3.5" drive on top.

Other Thoughts: 3.5" drive is a little recessed but still works and looks just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsSilverstone FP55B

Pros: Fits 3 drives (2 2.5" drives + 1 3.5" drive) in a single 5.25" drive bay. Decent clearance for all drives allowing adequate air circulation and cooling.

Allows you to attach your Silverstone drive bay cover to completely hide the drives.

Build quality is high, nice paint/coating, no sharp edges, etc.

Cons: 2.5" drives get mounted upside down which makes using a single SATA power cable for all drives a little tricky.

3.5" drive mounting screws are difficult to place unless you are using a magnetic screwdriver.

3.5" drive mount does not include any vibration dampening which may or may not matter depending on your case. For 2.5"/SSD it doesn't matter.

Other Thoughts: I used this in a Silverstone TJ08-e case. This bay convertor allowed me to completely remove the HDD cage, which improved airflow and really cleaned up the look of my case/wiring.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Seems like a nice solid unit, all metal, no flex, no flimsy bits likely to break off. Fit my build easily with no slop and went in without drama (using a screwdriver with a magnetic tip).

Cons: No beefs.

Other Thoughts: Front plate has an even dark charcoal color with a surface that's slightly brushed vertically, sort of a semi-gloss finish. Looks better in my Antec 300 case than the standard black CD drive above it. As others have noted, the photo is upside down, but my unit has convenient arrows stamped into the side showing which way is up. But you will need that magnetic tip screwdriver...

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does what it suppose to do.

Cons: Hard to install. Difficult to line up the holes to 3.5 bay. Doesn't secure too well with 5.25 tooless lock. Have to use screw.

1 out of 5 eggsDisapointed

Pros: Looks great and made out of all metal.

Cons: The design make it difficult to attatch anything and to use a card reader, the holes will have to be altered.
