1 out of 5 eggsJunk!!!

Pros: If you're willing to spend enough time you can modify this to fit most applications.

Cons: 3.5" holes don't come close to lining up. Drilling or reaming is required to make fit. External 5.25" holes are plastic so you have to shoehorn your screws into them hoping they don't strip out before you snug them up.

Other Thoughts: I can remember the good ol' days when metal drive bay brackets were readily available that fit without hassle. They should pay me $5 to take this piece of junk off their hands. My guess is that this cost about 25 cents to manufacture.

3 out of 5 eggsBob H

Pros: I finally got my media card reader installed.

Cons: It was however difficult. I had to push very hard to get the screw holes to line up. It was a very tight fit.

Other Thoughts: The BYTECC Bracket-525 is a better choice. I have used 2 of them with no difficulty. The Roosewill is $2.00 cheaper than the Bytecc, but in the future it is all I will go with the Bytecc.

Pros: Had it for a year. Haven't touched it since I installed it. Does its job nicely - its a bracket. Nothing more, nothing less.

5 out of 5 eggsFine for the Price

Pros: Cheap price, fits a 3.5" card reader perfectly

Cons: Plastic feels a little flimsy, not such a con at this price

Other Thoughts: For $5 I have absolutely no complaints about this bracket. The plastic does feel a bit cheap but again it's 5 bucks so I don't expect much. I'm using this in the front of my Corsair 750D to mount my 3.5" Rosewill card reader. The plastic is just a bit more glossy than my case so it doesn't match perfectly, but it's just fine for my needs and looks pretty good. I have no problem recommending this bracket.

4 out of 5 eggsAdequate Adapter

Pros: Mounting holes for 2.5" and 3.5" hardware. Can't be beat for the price.

Cons: All plastic design therefore no electrical grounding to case.

No threaded holes for mounting. You have to use the included self-tapping screws which means you can only move this bay so many times before the plastic wears out. I had to deduct an egg for this, self-tapping screws and plastic is not a durable solution.

Other Thoughts: For the price this thing fit my needs perfectly. I needed to add a Rosewill 3.5 to 2x2.5" hot swap drive bay and was out of 3.5" bays. This mounted just fine in my Antec Sonata, sat flush with the front of the case. The 3.5" bay fit very snuggly in this adapter (almost felt like I didn't need screws).

4 out of 5 eggsA bit challenging to work with

Pros: 3.5 to 5.25 adapter.

Cons: Had to take the front of the case off to get it to fit.

Other Thoughts: It does what it is supposed to do, but it is not a perfect fit to my case (Corsair 350D).

5 out of 5 eggsIt fits

Pros: I bought it to fit an SSD into my computer, and it fit, so that's good. It's kinda cheap, but it's less that $10 and made of plastic so I'm not mad. You get what you pay for! Just don't break it!

Cons: It doesn't make me food. Other than that, there aren't really any cons.
