Pros: Protects the HDD in a compact form.

Cons: I bought 2 storage boxes, and 1 allows easy insertion and removal of the HDD, and the 1 is like pulling teeth if the HDD is fully inserted.

Other Thoughts: With plastic molding, their should be minimal imperfections, yet this vast difference in product quality between two of the same product indicates an imperfection in the molding process with a high probability that a large portion of this product is flawed. I would give this a negative rating if I could, because such a difference indicates lazy engineering and quality control procedures.

Pros: when they work, meaning with a slimmer newer hard drive, they're fine.

Cons: I have a bunch now, and archived some drives. I now pulled one down, and another, and I cannot get the hard drives out of them no matter what.

I actually strained my forearm muscles trying to pull them out.

Other Thoughts: you get what you pay for. I should have follow my gut and went with a slightly more expensive, reliable brand.

Pros: They are cheap and protect these drives from dust and whatever, good for archiving.

Cons: I have one that the HD doesn't go in, I can't figure out why the drive won't fit. sure, drives are sometimes slimmer, and the older ones are slightly fatter, but I have another slightly fatter one that fits in another case, but this one case I cannot get the drive in no matter what.

Other Thoughts: somewhat unhappy with the Con I posted. but given the pricing, I'll ram it in there and hope to have to never use it.

Otherwise, they are very practical. I do worry about the plastic hinge, if over time, will it weaken and break, like a fliptop shampoo bottle, eventually they always break off for me. This is similar, all a single piece of plastic.
