Big difference
- Pros: Replaced Athlon 64 3200 on Asus SLI-Deluxe MB.
Very noticable difference in speed. Works as advertised.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: NICE.
Great for old board
- Pros: Noticeably faster boot-up and processing. Everything just runs faster!
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: Fastest single-core processor supported by my motherboard. Asus A8N5X, AMD Athlon64 4000+ San Diego, CORSAIR XMS 2 x 1GB SDRAM DDR 400, 2 x 320 GB W.D. SATA hdd's in RAID 0 array, and XFX 6800XT Video Card. Previously running 3200+ Venice. 4000+ is a great, as well as cheap, way to upgrade an old Socket 939 system.
AMD 64 upgrade
- Pros: Bought this to update a business computer that I have. Booted first time and has been running since. Used stock AMD 64 cooler. Not over clocked because the MB does not support it.
- Cons: Not dual core
- Other Thoughts: As always NewEgg ROCKS!
