5 out of 5 eggsGreat Processor

Pros: Works as expected

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my son's computer and had to switch out the original MB. I was worried because the heat sink paste so firmly attached the processor to the heat sink that when I tried to removed it from the processor, it pulled the processor out of the socket with the lock bar down. Processor works fine in new MB.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat!

Pros: runs cold with inluded fan. cost $50. fast.

Cons: had a little problem getting xp to recognize dual core, had to make a slipstream copy. but not a fault of the chip.

Other Thoughts: have never overclocked. don't run any hi-resource games. use on htpc w/onboard video, never taxed even pushing 1080p out.

Pros: Cheap, fast enough. It also comes with a heatsink, but who uses the heatsinks it comes with anymore?

Cons: None really.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic Buy

Pros: Came with thermal paste already on the cooling unit, and fit well in my Foxconn A74MX-K. Runs great, and have had no trouble running Windows x64.

Cons: The thermal paste wasn't centered exactly, and wasn't lined up with the whole CPU, but about 90% lined up.

Other Thoughts: Great instructions, simple installation, great for first build.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works well has good responsiveness even with other programs running. I have had this for over a year and it has not failed me. Great for anyone upgrading from a single core processor. After using this chip I do not know if I will go back to anything less than the 5000 x2. I ran this ran this on a 300w power supply with two cd/dvd roms with no problems.

Cons: I am not an intesive person on my PC everything runs crisp so I have no complaints.

Other Thoughts: This is remarkable processor compared to any single core I have ever used. I am on a tight budget with PC stuff so I am still happy will the cpu as I am not an intense gamer or tring to get the highest cpu score.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for anything

Pros: What can i say. This proc is way better than most of the reviews make it sound. You dont need volts to get it to 3.0 stable, just change the multiplier to 15.0. Now, above that, you need more volts. Max of 1.5 for a 3.4 from my research, and im running 1.488v @ 3.3GHz stable in Prime 95. Im running a modded Cooler Master Aquagate Duo Viva with my Sapphire 3850 sitting about 25ºC idle, and couldnt break 60ºC while running P95. 10078 3DMarks with 3.3GHz (10025@3.2GHz) and 100% overclock on the 3850.

Cons: Its not a quad??!! J/K

Other Thoughts: Id build 3 more systems with this just to say i did. Might be a long time before i can justify going to a Phenom/II, may just buy another to keep as a spare in case!

Be informed about any purchase, but dont believe everything you read as far as the reviews on here. Listen to the pros who test things like this, not the guys who say its an ok proc for web browsing and email....(rolleyes)
