5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs decently fast bought this piece of hardware in 09 and still running strong today. Had entire spare comp in elements for a year in shed, comp hadnt been plugged in for at minimum 2 years and still fired right back up. Does bottleneck with any newer parts, but dependability, the temps it runs at with stock fans and power consumption all make this a very worthy product worth every penny. If you run across one of these grab it up, use it as a spare you won't regret it.

Cons: can't really call the bottlenecking a con, i mean its been over 7 years sense this was released,

Other Thoughts: This cpu is one of the best all around processors I have owned.

5 out of 5 eggsStill Running Like A Champ

Pros: * Uses 65 watts of power
* Runs cool
* Still powers through everything after almost 7 years
* Still useful for processing video, audio, DVD/Blu-ray authoring, rendering 3D, and HD video.

Cons: * Other than the fact there are newer, smaller dies, and more cores, no cons to this processor.

Other Thoughts: I am still using this in my primary computer, that I use to do everything from DVD authoring to 3D rendering, and everything in between. I run Windows 10 on the system, and it still handles everything like a champ. This PC sees heavy usage (9+ hours a day, every day, for more than 6 years!), and it hasn't quit on me yet.

If you can get your hands on this processor for a good price, don't pass it up. It still runs like a champ.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Processor

Pros: Works as expected

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my son's computer and had to switch out the original MB. I was worried because the heat sink paste so firmly attached the processor to the heat sink that when I tried to removed it from the processor, it pulled the processor out of the socket with the lock bar down. Processor works fine in new MB.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat!

Pros: runs cold with inluded fan. cost $50. fast.

Cons: had a little problem getting xp to recognize dual core, had to make a slipstream copy. but not a fault of the chip.

Other Thoughts: have never overclocked. don't run any hi-resource games. use on htpc w/onboard video, never taxed even pushing 1080p out.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Cheap, fast enough. It also comes with a heatsink, but who uses the heatsinks it comes with anymore?

Cons: None really.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic Buy

Pros: Came with thermal paste already on the cooling unit, and fit well in my Foxconn A74MX-K. Runs great, and have had no trouble running Windows x64.

Cons: The thermal paste wasn't centered exactly, and wasn't lined up with the whole CPU, but about 90% lined up.

Other Thoughts: Great instructions, simple installation, great for first build.
